So ever since I started really building up my feminine wardrobe, I come across accessories and certain styles of clothing that I want to buy just because I don't have anything similar (and they look pretty cute to boot.)
But occasionally, I get surprised by a seemingly random purchase or style I've made that actually makes me stop and think 'how come I've never thought to wear this before.'
I had this when I first bought my clip-on hoop earrings nearly seven months ago, which I added to my shopping cart to bulk up my amazon order so that I could get free shipping XD When I first got them, I didn't think they would look good, but assumed that I should have a pair in my collection anyway.
But even to this day, whenever I dress up, I find that even though I have lots of options, I always gravitate towards those hoop earrings first. I almost have to make a conscious decision to wear something different if I want some variety. I'm getting my ears pierced next month and I've already bought a real pair ready for me to wear, and a few variations on the hoop too.
So my question-- is there any accessory or style of clothing (or even just a piece of clothing) that has over time became a staple of your dressing up, without you intending it to be? Or do you have a favourite item of clothing that you just love the chance to wear again and again when you dress?
Mine are probably my favourite panties. They were from a good lingerie store and are way nicer than the cheaper ones I bought to begin with. Lesson learnt, sometimes it is worth paying extra to feel fabulous....
My burgundy sweater dress. I love it! Though my GG best friend says the cleavage is too deep, I wore it often through the winter. Now it's summer and it's HOT and I can't wear it. I'm dying for a cool day, I miss my sweater dress.

With you on that one, if the panties are not right...forget it.
