While I will never pass as a woman, have no interest in a sex change, and am happy as a man in women’s lingerie… I do see women in public that I wish I looked like. Made me think more of my internal self-image or the one I wish I had if I’d been blessed to be born a woman or had a much more effeminate body which could pass.
So what is my girl self image?
I’m a big guy so I think I would be more of a taller girl. 6’. Definitely curvy (D cup breasts) hips and booty so I would be a little heavy but still fit enough to be a runner and look hot doing it. Long blonde hair I can do in a ponytail when running. I’d still have lighter skin from my Scottish/Nordic ancestry. I think about different ages I would be but if I had to pick, I’d say late twenties so I still look fine but have some experience and not as naive as you are when you are younger. I’m also on the fence if I would be a lesbian or heterosexual. Probably bisexual. Definitely fine sexy lingerie and a girly girl sense of style. Rocking the Barbiecore! 🙂

Well I’m 5ft 10, weigh about 155 pounds and am quite athletic (looking) for my age.
In my mind I’m Ellie Goulding, but in the mirror I’m more Lily Savage.
Lily was a UK drag comedian played by the wonderful Paul O’Grady who sadly passed away last year.
@meganfachs this is a great question. I don’t think I have an image, like I don’t equate myself to someone else I can see myself just as he but not being male. I’m tall which is a bother, but I’ve been lucky to be pretty femme looking, but my mental self image is just me without all the stupid masculine traits
@meganfachs This is a great question to ponder. As I’m in my mid 60s, my image is one of a successful business woman to match my business man success. I’m educated, intelligent (I think haha), and live a comfortable life. I dress conservatively most days and enjoy life. My image is age appropriate ice dresses and skirts, blouses, etc over nice panties, bra, camisole, and stockings/garters. Heals and flats. I’ll never pass outside in the world, but being dressed nicely under my male clothes I do feel attractive everyday.

@meganfachs My en femme self image/fantasy is of a tall woman, at least 40C, 36 waist, 45 hips. I love to wear thigh highs, garter belts, with my high heels (if out normal mode, black, but if "OUT on the town" it would be patent leather red heels.) Maxi dresses, or fluffy blouses with frilly lace and bows, with bellowy sleeves. I would love to have very long hair to my butt. I would brush my hair religiously and only pin enough back so I can see. I love the thought of hair that long because of the "interpersonal" uses thereof. If my skirt is black then my blouse will be red. If just a dress then it will be red or depending on the situation the color may be different. Make would be appropriate to the situation. But I do love a red lipstick. My perfume would be rose scented, of course.
A little taller, a little on the curvy side but no too much. Dark brunette hair (sometimes it's straight when I picture it, sometimes it's a little curly). Nice legs because that's the only feature I have now that I actually like. Nice nails.
As for style, it doesn't matter because whether it's a high fashion cocktail or torn jeans and a sweatshirt I'd look good because I love and accept myself. But I'd tend towards the comfortable.

I’m 5’8” and about 170lb. I’m trying to get down to 150 but it’s a struggle to lose weight. My image would be a moderately dressed lady with legs and a nice butt, so I like heels. I found I don’t like heels over 4” and try to keep them 3-4”. I love dresses and lingerie. My favorite item is the corset I bought that is boned and snugs up my waist. I added garters to the corset and have several pairs of stocking to use. I also have several garter belts but they don’t stay up very well, over time. My profile has some pictures of me and I’m working on perfecting my makeup skills. I love to be put in public, but have only ventured out once.
My preferred outfit is a nice dress with sleeves and a nice heel to show off the legs. I’m looking forward to see what 2024 brings me. -Traci
My self image would be a couple of inches taller than my 5-6 with nice long legs a nice pert butt and a flat stomach, my stomach now makes me look like I'm pregnant, nice pert breasts with a Ccup i wouldn't want them any bigger, age wise either late 30's or early 40's , when i was a teenager and i used to go to parties and my older auntie's were there they looked so sexy in their party dresses, I would have long blonde hair down past my shoulders, they do say blondes have more fun,
I would have a wardrobe full of different party dresses all in different colours and styles and lots of heels 👠 in different colours to match the dresses X

I'm 5'10" (178cms) and weigh about 85kg. I gave up alcohol about eighteen months ago and lost 15kg in the process, but I'll never get small enough or shapely enough to look like my mental image of myself. This would be someone in their 40s with lovely legs (not like my manly, bandy things). I find though that with shapewear, hip pads, breast forms and perhaps a corset, I can look at myself and not be too unhappy with what looks back at me from the mirror.
My girl self-image is what I see in the mirror. I don't try to be something I am not. I am a guy who likes to wear femme clothes. Just recently I was dressed and enjoying my time en femme when I happened to catch my reflection in a mirror. I started to cry because I was so happy. I just had this overwhelming sense of myself. I know I am not pretty, but had to admit I was not a half-bad-looking 65-year-old. Sure we always want to look better, but we are happiest if we accept who we are and just do the best with what we have.
@jjandme Hi, JJ, I relate fully to your comment, I've never been a handsome guy but, dressed and with jewellery on, I can look in the mirror and I'm very pleased with what I see.
After using faceapp to play around, AI seems to think I would look a lot like my sister. Shes a few years younger than me.
So based on that, my mental image is a slightly taller version of her.
As far as what to wear, it seems weird even to me, but as a guy I hate wearing anything sleeveless, in fact I hate taking my top off outside of my house, and shorts are a necessary evil in the summer. So as much as my female side loves dresses and skirts to show off my stockings or hose I think I'd be a pants or ankle length skirt type of girl.
I'm 6' tall & thin so the look I'd like would consist of moving from a B cup to a C cup, adding some hips and taking a little off the belly. I would love to appear as a youngish, mid-40's, stylishly dressed, attractive, successful woman with the resources to spend her time doing only things she enjoys.
I'd be shorter (5'6" would be ideal) and definitely curvy but within good proportions (hips the same width and my shoulders, and c/d cup breasts for example). My hair would be down to my breasts and wavy. The color would be either dirty blonde or streaked. My clothing style would be somewhat casual (leggings, sweaters, boots, etc) but I would certainly love to get dressed to the nines. I love flowy chiffon and lace dresses, and strappy heels. I would certainly be a career woman in a business related to fashion or beauty. I have always thought that I would like to own a boutique catering to upscale, stylish women. It wouldn't be all work and no play though...I love to travel and see what the rest of the world has to offer.

Fortunately, I am only 5' 7" tall and 145 lbs. However, I would love to have full breasts 36C and accentuated hips and bum. An hourglass figure for sure. Slim arms, long fingers, full thighs, slim waist, presently a 30" waist but would love a 26" for sure. Hair, shoulder length brunette incolur with blonde highlights. Style always a dress, chic, upscale and fitted. Nylons, no question, heels pumps the higher the better. All the accessories and definitely long fingernails! In a bold colour.

"Mature" elegant? retired ex business woman. Before I retired I wore re the "black power suit" every day. Jacket,over pure silk camisole, skirt, tan stockings and a 3" block heel. (bad back y'a see, had to forgo the stilettos. )
Away from work 1/. night time cocktails/formal events. Classy three piece ensembles, (aka Mother of the Bride). Formal Balls full length with train evening gowns
2/. Weekends and holiday, casual below the knee skirts and blouse/tops. Drop waist cardi in cool weather, stockings and comfy ballet flats. Jeans and sneakers??? Not for this old bird...
3/. Bedtime. Summer.. Silk everything, love it on my shaved bod.. Winter fleecy pj's and thermal camis

For winter daywear, winter out comes good quality thermal camis and tights.

It’s tough for me being 5’8” and 240 lbs. I just want to be able to pass as a woman. I’m trying to loose weight, maybe to 200-210. I’ll have a better image once I can get some decent clothes. 😂

I've been pondering this one for a while, but having just seen a weather forecast the answer has appeared. Fiona should aspire to be rather like Carol Kirkwood, a very well-loved TV weather presenter of many years on these shores. With shaping on, Fiona has a similar figure, albeit taller. I like her dresses and her hair, her face is about right for my age, plus she always seems to be smiling - and it's Fiona's smile that's the biggest difference in personality from my drab self.
Having run one of the photos I took of my first make-up session with my blonde wig through an online gender-swapping app, it came up with the image that's now my avatar. I saw this beautiful woman looking back out of what was recognisably my face, and I just knew that this is who I am inside when I'm feeling feminine. And, re my post above, I'm still not that far away from Carol Kirkwood, particularly in a full body-shot!

I just mentioned in an earlier post that Allie is much more outgoing and fun than drab me, so snap to that one.
Can you tell me which app or website you used, I'd like to post some head to toe pics but I'm finding my beard more and more offputting the better I get at styling clothes and jewellery.

@alexina I personaly use youcam live makeup its so much fun and helped me find River as @finallyfiona said. then i have been doing my best to copy it and removing effects as I go. but since you can project the live image to a huge TV screen its just a blast to play with and really boosts my self image of what I see and what is possible with the magic of makeup. cheers RC
