I have noticed, recently, the site is intermittently taking an age and a half to do stuff. Well, today, I've tried to log in using iphone and ipad (other mobile devices are available) and when I hit the login button, there's like an opaque screen appears over the display. Hitting the back button clears it but, when I try again, the same thing happens. I'm currently using the iMac to access the site but this is not perfect, the power cable doesn't stretch very far and I'm finding it a bit unwieldy carrying the mac around the house.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution? Or have I offended the Goddess of gremllins?

Allie, I only access CDH via my android phone. I don't get any strange screens popping up but I'm finding that navigation takes forever. I put it down to my phone or WiFi but who knows?
On a slightly connected subject, if anyone's listening, I'm noticing more and more duplicate posts and email notifications. I was in IT for 45 years so the team have my sympathy 😂 xx.
Thanks, Chrissie. No, this is a new thing and I tried the "Dealing with Errant Electronics" 101, eg, switch it off and on again, but sadly to no avail. Indeed, regarding the speed drop, I thought it may well be down to heavy traffic while the screen issue might be apple-specific.

I've literally spent my whole life building systems like ours xx.
I log in on a windows PC. I have always had pages load very slowly in CDH. Dare I say that CDH is the only website that I visit that takes so long to load pages. Perhaps it's just that busy?
Then that's yet another reason for me to be in awe of you, Chrissie, as well as your stoicism, good grace and gorgeousness xx

Update, back to normal. Currently no opaque screen on iPhone.
Oh, and before anyone suggests it, I don't have intermittent cataracts either!
I know. Sometimes my generosity of spirit causes me to fall over. [Allie's imaginary heckler whispers, That's a different kind of spirit] Doesn't matter, the comment still stands...er, unsteadily.
Another update, I've tried three different browsers, Safari, Edge and Chrome and found that only Chrome isn't experiencing the problem...so far.
I'll remain hopeful unless I see otherwise.
It looks as if the problem has been fixed.
I can no longer connect via an android phone. I use my pc. Edge works better than Chrome for me to connect.

I've never been able to connect using an Android phone, don't even try anymore.
As for pages loading slowly on PC, I have put that down to living in the UK. They are not all that slow but I use a VPN too so that probably doesn't help.
Yeah, I use safari or edge and will keep using them for everything else at the moment. I'll keep trying to access CDH with them too, though

Thanks Sara, I'm assuming the speed issue is down to traffic volume as it happens intermittently.
The screen is still ok with chrome for the moment so I'll stick with that.

Thanks to all who replied, I think the screen issue is related to the browser and quite possibly the latest updates I installed on both iPhone and iPad.
