Hi Girls,
I have adjusted the email notification settings in my profile so that I only get an email notification when someone sends me a message (I am on often enough to keep up with other things). However, despite what I have done with the email notification settings, I get many email notifications that are not personal messages - sometimes I get an email notice when someone has commented on a topic that I have simply read. I regularly get emails when members comment on someones else's posting.
Therefore I am getting a lot of emails.
Can anyone help me fix this? My settings are clear so I don't know what the problem is

Kendra, you may have subscribed to a certain forum and anything posted in that forum you will be notified. Also if you created a Topic and did not uncheck the notification box, you will be notified. Let me know if that help.

I'm having the same problem. It there a way to turn off forum notification. I'm getting 30 plus emails a day and one is enough. I don't want someone nosing into this account.
Email settings in your profile settings. Should be able to tick no for emails.
At the bottom of any message you leave is a check box for follow up replies (bottom left of text box - its just to the left of the submit box)

This may be helpful to some members having email problems. Go to (> symbol meaning goto) you name on the black strip above right. You will see a menu > settings > email. Turn off or on what ever you want. You may get unwanted email just because another person answers a message in a group you have joined.
