My profile disappeared

I registered this morning. Received the welcome email and all that.

I spent some time on the site had a few people message me and chatted a little.

I tried to login this afternoon and the system said there was no such user and my email address wasn't recognized.

I can see my old messages but it says the user is 'Anonymous' and logged off.

I have since re-registered using the same information and email address but I don't know if I did something wrong and if my membership was cancelled for some reason the first time.
