Recently, twice now, I have received notification for new replies on old posts through the new system. The first time was a bit confusing because I couldn't find any new replies, so I didn't think much about it, thought it might be a fluke.
Today, I got two more new notifications for old replies. The dates on the two posts were from mid-July. I checked around, no new replies were found.
Not a serious issue, but it wastes time tracking them down and it may confuse other members.
I received a few yesterday from old articles that got moved to Forums. It's expected behavior. See Vanessa's post about it here:

I received three yesterday for replies I'd posted in 2019. but I didn't really pay much attention to them. I attributed it to my limited activity last semester. Thanks for the information.

Weirdly I got an email notification yesterday about the initial comment in the post 'Sexuality - how do you identify?', which was just closed to further comments on the grounds that there were too many inappropriate comments!
@chrisfp99 unfortunately we have had a lot of posts over the years where the replies to a topic are bad enough to outweigh the good original topic.
we hate to have to close them, but it does happen.
