The last forum topic I posted was keyed in first using WordPad, then copied and pasted to the submission form.  It all looked correct on the form, but when it showed up on the forum, it is filled with HTML tags at all the paragraph breaks, which makes it hard to read.

is there any way for me to edit the post so I can eliminate the tags in favor of carriage returns?

I check my copy and pastes by using the 'Text" tab (the one next to visual) on the submission form.  Then I edit out the HTML tags if they have gotten in 🙂

You could try Windows NotePad and then copy & paste, may get rid of the format tags.

If you notice it straight away then there is an option to edit your post.  I do find that some copy and paste text does end up with HTML.  The basic MS Windows notepad is the best for copying from I find.
