[Closed] 🌬️👣frozen feet or toasty toes ???👣🌬️

Slab house, tile on concrete gets cold, even before winter sets in. I have a pair of sheepskin camping slippers with heavy soles. Very warm, and if I have to go outside for a moment, don't have to change out of them. Gender neutral, but a little on the manly side.
Wouldn't mind something more feminine if they were just as warm, but in no hurry to replace the ones I have just because they are so practical.
My wife has laid claim to the non-slip socks I was sent home with after my surgeries, and those are pretty comfy too. Just not warm enough for me come winter.

Hi Grace as the same here time is changing towards winter was 28 this am when got up at 530 am and right now at 7 30 pm its at 37 right now so a bit cool on the toes i have a pair of black flats that i wear most all the time as house slippers as we have wood floors and a splinter does not feel good these are padded and are thick soles really warm and cute also ..

When the weather changes here to cooler normally will wear my VS slippers with womens short socks.

Something not going to happen here for awhile lol still wearing silk sleep shorts at night and cami. Only thing toasty is the outside temp around 78.

Yes the temperature is dropping. Yuck! The furnace just ran for the second time in 24 hours. There goes the gas bill. Another yuck! I keep the thermostat down about 68, maybe lower if I'm feeling comfy. That means fleece leggings or heavy tights, sweaters and warm pink fuzzy ballet slippers. If sitting in the recliner, wrapped in a fuzzy comforter. If lying on the couch, wrapped in two fuzzy comforters. When in bed I even have an extra blanket doubled up just for my toes!

Tonight's wardrobe is a vision of fuzzy pink. Tomorrow's wardrobe may be fuzzy burgundy, fuzzy black or fuzzy red, but whatever color it will be fuzzy with fuzzy slippers and maybe fuzzy socks. Is there an obsession here? Phhhttt! I'm warm.

I have extremes in my footwear -

Daily I live in bare feet in the house and then use flip flops for normal day wear, (but have my heels and boots for fem days out.)

But in the winter I live in Ugg boots most of the time.  I have 3 pairs and rotate them depending on the day and weather.

But never owned slippers as I have hot feet and they wouldn't stay on for more than a new york minuet

I'm not "Au fait" with mountain gear....but I have noticed that all the hiking gear in my local shops ( mountain warehouse, blacks and trespass )....does seem to be any colour of the rainbow for women........and green and black for men!!!......how's that for equal!!!

Hi Grace My feet seemed to always hot so flip flops are my daily wear while inside cleaning my home I do have two pair of warm ship skin ugg botties when I have to go out.Its only when my middle age daughter comes over and spends the night. My UGG's seem to disappear then reappear . I am trying hard not to complain She is accustomed to borrowing her mothers clothes with out much complaint. Unfortunately for me I wear a  size smaller than my wife  That for sure is never talked about or even mentioned. So my daughter borrows what fits best and goes about her day. Its not a situation where my daughter does not know what clothes i choose to wear. She uses words you have become very stylish and she likes the look. In most cases  that should feel good but I know her enough now when she says she likes the look my clothes will soon disappear and reappear in the strangest place. Crazy world of a simple cross dresser. Luv Stephanie
