Hi ladies
Being bald and unable to grow my own hair I naturally have to resort to wigs. The benefits of being bald I don't need wig caps, and wigs by and large stay in place when attached correctly. However living in a warm and humid climate, Sydney Australia, they are very sweaty and become increasingly uncomfortable the longer I need to wear them. As a male I always wear hats when outdoors so I have started looking at hats for females to see if I could use them without a wig. I came across this site www.headcovers.com. They look like they maybe a perfect choice when I want to be female but don't want to wear a wig. I have ordered a Ponytail Headband for hats and a Flapper Turban. I will update you the I get them, maybe even a few pics.
Lovingly Elsa
Elsa, Here is a blast from my past.
I wore a scarf like these instead if a wig when I was a young CD (8 + years old). I made a pocket in the scarfs at the time. Then I used to use a small folded towel to fill it, so it looked like I had feminine hair.
I suppose you could still do this. Or you could put some hair extensions on there too and have part of it stick out like your scarf for more reality. I saw a lot if pics where women even used rolls before putting them in scarfs as steel workers in those days.
It's funny I remembered this now. Thanks Sweetie
interesting. THNX
Hi Elsa,
I had a similar idea and acquired a turban 'a la Joan Collins'. On her it was glamorous and elegant, but on me it looked like a bathing cap!
