Hey Everyone,
I don't have any plans to go out dressed as Dani anytime soon, but am still interested in getting a little experience with makeup.
I've done some research and it looks like primer would be a good thing to start with, but can I wear that alone? Even dressed in my drab clothes?
I'm thinking that even if I just wore primer, it would help give my face a more polished look and reduce the pores.
Does anyone else just use primer and/or maybe some concealer?
If it matters, I currently have a beard. That's another reason I was thinking of just trying some primer on the remaining hairless parts of my face (upper cheeks, around the eyes and forehead).
Thanks All!
Dani
I'm currently studying makeup to improve my pitiful skills. Everything I have read says that primer under makeup is a must. While I haven't tried it yet, I do plan to. I'm not sure what it would do for you alone. The best way to find out is probably to give it a try. Just for reference, "Makeup Addiction" on Reddit is a good source of information.
I do use primer, and there are many types. Some will feel sticky on your face while others will give your skin a silky feel. Primers are suppose to give a good base for your foundation and to help your foundation to last longer. But as it them giving you a visible improvement to your skin, they don't do that since they go on clear.
I just use foundation and lipstick around the house on Sundays. Whilst underdressed lol
i need more time to practice full make up and eyes are an issue I really need to work on

Have you thought about trying BB Cream?
Yes, I often only do primer, a mildly bronzing primer by Nivea. After many makeup sessions I found out that my skin looks best with only that.
