In almost every fashion blog I read online from both sides of the Atlantic,the general consensus is that flesh coloured pantyhose/tights are out of fashion.It certainly is true in the U.K where I live.Walk down the High Street and you will rarely see a woman in flesh coloured hose.Plenty of young and middle aged women are wearing black tights but otherwise instead of wearing nude or natural tights most women are favouring the bare legged look,even in the winter.In a recent article about the new series of Strictly Come Dancing looking at all the pics of this years female contenders none of them are wearing tights.I have been a lover of ladies hose since I was a young boy and love all sorts of shades from natural to black opaque. I have tons of flesh coloured tights in natural /nude and bamboo and wear them often as does my wife.I often ask her if we are old fashioned girls for wearing hose in shades that are deemed passe by the fashion police ,she says not to pay any heed as we can wear what we like,which I think is sound advice.Girls,what do you think?
My wife used to wear nude color pantyhose all the time, but I have always preferred suntan since I started crossdressing. There are some who say that pantyhose of any color is old fashioned. Nonsense. You should wear whatever color you darn well please. They probably look great on you and that's why you wore them in the first place. I think old fashioned girls are the sexiest and I aspire to be one. 🙂
Roberta we as with gg ladies must decide what trend we wish to follow. I personally try to look classy and ever the lady so chasing a teenybopper type fashion standard does me no good and quite frankly is not of any interest to me. So maybe we are olde fashioned but we have class and elegance that today’s little harlots will never understand! To those I have offended remember that being a real LADY is more than a pair of herls and a short skirt.

Not for me they aren't. I always wear nude, beige, tan or taupe. Mostly tan. They take my legs and make them look better and feel great too.
Hello Roberta, I love all colours of tights, but I have more flesh colour tights than the others. The flesh colour tights will make your skin look more natural, what ever colour your skin is. I do prefer flesh/natural colour tights myself though. I have not notice weather flesh tights are worn less now or not, but it true you see a lot of black tights around. But as I say, wear what you like & not worry about the other ladies.

I've read all the same stories about hose of any color, really, being 'out of style' and it boggles me - unless you are truly a supermodel with perfect skin, I think hosiery makes everyones legs just look 'better' !
I too have read they are out of style. I don't work or visit places where a woman would typically wear hosiery so I can't comment on if this seems to be the real world case. For me I almost always wear pantyhose, typically suntan which when you read the fashion blogs are the worst but I like them, they feel wonderful and I think they make my legs and any woman's legs look much better. I don't plan on changing for now.

I think if you like pantyhose or tights you should wear what you like. I do that as a man and I will do the same as my natural girl self. I like pantyhose and I have a couple pairs of tights I enjoy wearing when it is cooler. I have some darker colors but I need to get me lighter colors like the tan. Looking to find some with design in them too. Personally I see pantyhose as sexy and believe they help shoes look better.
It is kind of funny,because if you are out and about any more you rarely see anyone wearing hose.It seems like they have just been phased out by fashion.It has went to bare feet and heels now.Where and when did that come about anyway?Personal choice for me is my suntan,and taupe,which seems near impossible to find any more.I do have several pairs of flesh though to.What ever happened to cute little sandals,peep toes and nail polish?Lets bring back the look of heels and hose and sexy,Girlfriends.
