What are some suggestions for a concealing foundation to get that very smooth uniform base? I am playing with different ways to deal with stubble and wanted to try something pancake once. Thanks loves
besos 😘
Try this SEPHORA FOUNDATION
APPLY with fingers or foundation brush or sponge
It's what I use, color medium beige,
With maybelline medium beige loose dusting powder. I keep some medium beige #2 maybelline cream foundation in purse (small jar fits purse makeup bag better) for touchup while out and about as needed. Also have a matching compact of pressed powder.
Hello Mariabella ...
I use Maybelline Fit Me.
Covergirl + Olay 3 in 1 Simply Ageless is also a good product.
To minimize wrinkles use a good moisturizer first. I also use an Aloe mist before I put on my face moisturizer.
Get a good hydrating primer. ELF has a good one.
I have found applying with fingers or sponge is the best but if you use a brush I would suggest stippling method.
Don't use a lot of product.
Apply a setting powder but very lightly. Powder if not applied correctly can cake and age you.
Use a setting spray/mist.
Dermablend had good products to cover beard shadow but I would use a color corrector first.
Hope this helps.

Thank you so much dears. I will try them and the techniques. My daughter and wife have effing perfect skin so hiding wrinkles/stubble is not their forte. So coming to the experts. Thank you darlings 😘
What's the best way to apply dusting /setting powder. .brush or powder puff?
I was taught brush and stipple it into the foundation not rub. I have some work to do before I get the smooth cheeks Libby at the Mac booth gave me. It is fun learning though and even my “fails” have gotten way better
So I quess a powder puff patting the powder on would be okay rather than rubbing the powder on
No one has told me why rubbing powder on is bad news
Hi Ladies....
The question has come up about powder.
First and I cannot stress this enough. To minimize wrinkles you must hydrate your skin. Oils, mists, moisturizers, hydrating primer and a hydrating foundation all help.
Powder settles into the wrinkles plus powder does have properties in it that take the moisture from your skin making you look older than you are.
Little powder on a brush and light dusting over the face. Then use a setting mist.
Take a look at youtube Pampered Wolf. She is really good.

Been on an intensive skin care regime for the last month and it is paying off. Much less crepe look. And the eyes need some nip tuck to unhood them. I will work on the powder as that seems where I am perhaps over applying. I use a great moisturizing base and do a clay mask four days a week. Am using an eye cream for baggage. I know what I want is close. Oh well girls spend a whole adolescence learning what I am trying to cram overnight. I think it will end up just me in front of the dressing table mirror practicing till I am satisfied( but I am a catty bitch and will not be satisfied ) then go back to Libby and get some professional lessons. We talked and the wife and I are saving for some work. She needs a breast reduction and I want almond eyes 👀. My eye game will be much better and her back will be much better lol chatty bitch today
Besos chicas!😘
I would also suggest not using powder but a Setting Spray.
Try Lancome CoverUp, expensive 4 what u get but a little bit of it goes a long way. I use the #14 &r #15 shades.
Not that I have much experience at all, but I have used orange color corrector on the darker spots of my beard, and it really works! You can use a little bit of an orange colored lipstick to try it out yourself. Or eye shadow/blush. You get the drift.

Try using a quality primer on your face first.
A primer seals some of the wrinkles so you have a smooth surface to work with. Try a firming serum as well to tighten up the skin around the eyes.
Use very sparingly because a little goes a long way.
I found by using those two products I need barely any foundation other than a concealer under the eyes and blend it in really well with light strokes.
I use a tinted primer so I actually don't use that much make up and I'm 66 years old and have my share of wrinkles.
YW michelee.
Just a great topic. I'm taking notes on this for sure.
Thanks
Lisa 🙂
