I'm thinking that when I do get the chance to dress I definitely will want a bodysuit/leotard - the constant breaking of the space between my trousers and shirts in drab keeps this on my mind. I would imagine due our anatomical differences this could be a bit tricky with our longer flatter/differently-bulgy upper bodies and dangly bits, so I'm curious about what experiences you girls have had with these items. Any brands or type that work for our less graceful shape, especially for those like me who are both tall and fat? A bodysuit with a skirt is just looking like this most comfortable and liberating thing to wear when I find the chance, ntm easy and affordable.
Bodyaware.com has some that look good and comfortable. Another site is enfemmestyle.com they have a few that are pretty sweet too. I do enjoy bodysuits and have bought a couple from Body Aware.

Thank you! With bodysuits I'm extra wary of just buying online before trying anything on, but if they're marked down enough I might just go for it.
I’ve bought a few bodysuits off of Amazon that fit pretty well. This coming from someone rather big in the belly area and long in the torso too.
Any particular brands or cuts that stick out?
When I get home from work tonight I’ll look up what I ordered the last time and send you a message.
I'm 6' 200lb with a bit of a tummy (working on that), most are very stretchy by design. I've bought many, from different stores and mfg's in the past couple years and only had 1 that didn't fit right. I honestly think that one was mislabelled. I've used lacy ones to fill in that space between my chosen bottom and top with some interesting results. They are fun, easy and come in many sleeve styles and colors.
I am not tall, so my one piece swimsuits never get exposed between a shirt and shorts. It is the lines along the seams of my swimsuit that I am concerned about...much like how you can sometimes see bra straps making lines under a lady's shirt.
A bodysuit and skirt is indeed a great combination. My favorite bodysuits so far are from Verdusa on Amazon. I've found their quality to be good for the price (most of their bodysuits and tops are around $16 or less)
I took a bit of a risk by getting their long sleeve turtleneck bodysuit in two different colors before trying anything else from them. So far it seems like a good decision. I'm enjoying them.
I'm a little less sure about sizing though. I'm 6' 1" 180 lbs, and their size large fits me nicely, if a bit tight. But I like it that way. So if their prices look good for you to experiment a bit, that would be my suggestion.
I'm been wearing a black spandex mesh h XL. Bodysuit and a NAVY BLUE LACE SOMA INTIMATES BALCONNET STYLE RUG WITH A MATCHING LACE STRING BIKINI and a full modern Western Square dance skirt with purple pettipants and request full CRINOLINE every day now in per SOGGF as preparation for a Square dance club 80 miles away Halloween costume Dance /party as my SOGGF had said Tammie has to come out fully ENFEMME to SD CLUB we have never been to it previously in either my Man mode o or Tammie mode thus having to wear Square dancing attire every day since a week ago. SOGGF just came by saying Tammie you need to change into a new bra and panties 4 night you need some more Halloween color handing me a new Neon orange lace bra and matching lace bikini panties.... bye 4 now.
The first body I used well over fifty years ago were Triumph, a swiss/german brand of high quality (and softness!). But recently I bought a Lovable , a bit tighter but very comfortable. last year i found on ebay a fantastic "total lace" vintage Friedrichs.
Hugs from a newcomer Georgette.

I wear the XL size. The L is a little more than snug on me, I can get into it but its not too comfy, and it tends to raise the key of my voice lol
Bodysuits are a great aid for tucking too, but fiddly when needing the loo!
Fiona,
Agreed both for "tucking" and the re the rest room. Especially if it's NOT the SNAP bottom type of Bodysuit.
since u say Loo I guess ur in UK, New Zealand or Australia
Here in USA, we save, restroom, bathroom or "John" were "John" came from I have no idea. Military people, especially those who are/have been in Navy, say "Head".
I love the nice tight feel of a bodysuit.
I've have had on several occasions rather embarrassing moments, when I've worn a Polyester/Silk bra Panties, pantyhose, A tuck in the waist tight spandex female shirt/Blouse both in female slacks and spandex miniskirts/knee length pencil skirt, etc. That my top has pulled out of slacks, skirt etc. when I have had to squat down lady like to pickup some from a lower shelf in a grocery store for example.
Got to run I have a 330pm hair color, shampoo, blow dry,cut and style appointment today, and I still have my makeup to do.. it's 2:05pm here and I need an hour to do my makeup b4, leaving a 3:10pm 4 my appointment a 15min drive away.
