What tell-tale signs do you love that say you're a crossdresser without saying you're one?
For me, it's the signs that I was up to something.
I love wearing a bra for hours or to bed, then seeing the strap and band marks on my back, shoulders, and chest.
I love the strap marks on my feet, a bit reddish, from wearing strappy heels for an hour.
I love the specks of nail polish left on my toes after I've used nail polish remover to take off my most recent pretty color.
I love the hints of lipstick that get caught in the crevices on my lips.
I love all these little tells.

Even better: resulting marks from a very tight corset.
I guess I've come to take it for granted now days, but going about daily life in public with shaved legs and arms. I used to worry about someone noticing and saying something when wearing shorts in guy mode but never word from anyone.

Interesting! I have noticed now that I've been shaving consistently for about 7 years that the hair below my knees has thinned out quite a lot. Compared to pre-shaving days.
@mkat3874 the first time I shaved my legs and arms I went to Home Depot soon after and I felt every person in the store could tell. In reality nobody noticed or if they did they said nothing.

Same here. When first started going into stores I would try to hide behind the shopping cart. I grew out of it and now it's just a normal part of life.
@mkat3874 Me too Michelle. I take the time to shave,scrub, moisturize my legs most days. I will wear girl or boy shorts With cute sandals all the time. Not a word 
I don't wear my girliest sandals in guy mode. I save those for Michelle time but I do like to wear my Chaco and Ryka sandals all the time and I've recently come to love Toms. I wear a women's 11 or 12 depending on the brand and I usually buy a more androgenous color to wear every day but I love the cute strapy sandals when I'm wearing a casual dress or skirt. So much fun!
@mkat3874 I love girly sandals, ballet flats, even low heels in girl or guy mode.
Some of us love heels and that's fantastic. My knees are not so forgiving. However, There is a special feeling you get when you wear just the right pair of cute girly shoes in casual or dressy. IYKYK.
@mkat3874 I have been shaving my legs for years and no one cares and if they do I don't care. I wear 3 to 5 inch shorts so they show my legs with no hair. I don't completely shave my arms but keep the hair short.
I Would love to wear shorts that length in public but I just don't have the nerve. I don't shave my arms with a razor but I use a clipper with the shortest guard. When I'm done you'd have to look really close to see the hair in my arms. It just feels cleaner and smoother to me. Love it.
@mkat3874 I know some guys who shave their legs and have very beautiful feminine legs. Now I wonder why ... Lol.
@mkat3874 Same. Years of bare legs and arms, year-round and nary a comment. Even with painted toes all summer nobody seems to bat an eye, so much so that I take it for granted myself. It's entirely possible that I myself care so little about someone else's opinion on it that it doesn't rise to the level of my attention...
@lea-jhene My tan lines for sure. I love being on the boat and tanning only to see those strap marks when I put on my nightgown later.
@cherylt I long for those kinds of tan lines, but being "sun averse" as I am, it will just have to remain unrequited. Alas...
@lea-jhene I quickly learned to use something other than a razor to clear my hair, so I have almost no leg hair anymore and don't need to waste time on that.
Maybe our daughter will notice it this year. I have an explanation ready for her, this time, but that will be the main tell, for now.

I enjoy showing some vpl when I'm underdressed and at the local mall - or a hint of a lace-trim camisole under my male shirt.

@katherineboesemann Katherine I often wonder how many time someone as gotten a glimpse of my panties while underdressed. I don’t purposely show VPL but I’ve discovered my panties were showing many times. Twice in recent years I noticed guys in panties.
I too enjoy wearing lacy camisoles under my guy shirts and like to unbutton a little so I can see it myself , so I assume others have also. Nobody says a thing !

I have tan lines from the tanning bed while wearing a thong, and my pantyhose can be seen at my ankles while underdressed. Like you mentioned leftover nail polish on my toes after removing it, a glossy clear coat on my hands, vpl or a whale tail and my bra straps showing from the back of my t shirt.

My nails are painted 24/7, both toes and fingers. I used to do clear gel on my fingers but recently started getting flesh color polish on them. It is a bit more obvious then the clear but still subtle. On my toes I get color, sometimes red or pink, other times a color for the season. Right now my toes are a purplish grey. I wear earrings 24/7, usually studs or small hoops but do on occasion wear dangling ones when going out of the house.

And unlike bra or shoe imprints, they last longer! Always thought it was a little more daring and risque because of that. I mean, you could be daring one day and suntan in a two piece, but come a few months later, you might be explaining to a friend, medical person, etc why you have a light-marked bra on your skin! 
I'm not really an on / off person, so usually when I'm out and about it's nail polish, dangly earrings, jewellery, neutral clothes from the women's side. Sometimes a soft bra to cup my moobs a bit and a dab of faint lippy or a bit of colour in my eyebrows depending on my mood. I like Shawna's suggestion of tan lines ...

My bikini butt...tan lines from wearing a pretty skimmpy bikini bottom. Though I have had tan line from a bikini top in the past, that is a bit too much come summer when I remove my shirt.
The subtle nail polish I wear most of the time, with occasion bouts of bold polish as well.
My wife is away for a conference, which is a very rare occurrence. This is the first time I have ever been able to wear a bra for over a full 24 hours. It's a tight underwire. I will get a good look at the bra lines when I shower later. Best of all, I can put it back on afterwards!
I underdress most days in a woman's one piece swimsuit. So by the next day, especially if the swimsuit is tight, I have a nice imprint of the suit all around my body.
Unexpected tan lines, I work a sport bra top while working in the yard on a warm overcast morning, the you pull of the top to change and there they are....tan lines tracing out the should straps and back strap, and outlining the front of your chest.

A couple of tell tale signs for me and I agree with lots of you are the bra strap marks I see when I take my bra off. Nice smooth legs and the one I like the most is the lipstick that I leave on a cup when I have had a drink.
plus the one that no one ever sees my lovely M&S knickers that I wear everyday.
