hello everyone
I have been wasting a lot of time for the right fit as all the bras I have invested in have poor fittings. Also which kind would be good as I am on the heavier side. Padded or Underwired or a full figure so confused with this.
Sports works best IMO.
IMO, the only way to have a bra which fit properly is to have a bra fitting. I had mine at Dillard's after many failed attempts, but VS and (I think) Torrid, among others can do it for you.

38b (uk size) usually with 3 clasps if possible, slightly padded, and matching panties is a must for me, but bras are a personal choice and you have to experiment to find what's comfortable
I've been told that some girls have had great success talking to the staff at Torrid and/or Victoria's Secret on the fitment.
You can ask for a fitting at VS, you can even try to schedule it later in the day to avoid people.
I'm told that the staff is professional and have dealt with us plenty.
They can find the perfect size for your build and once you have it done, you know what you need.
I would call them to ask, that way you're totally anonymous and safe...
Good luck!

Torrid is especially good. They will not only fit you, but they'll let you try on a few to check, as well as make other suggestions for outfits. Plus they're extremely friendly.
Hi Harley,
As others have suggested Torrid is CD friendly and may have started doing bra fittings now that many businesses have reopened after the pandemic. Call your local store to find their current policy. Lane Bryant is also CD friendly and has done bra fittings on guys. You can try on a bra if they have not restarted in person fittings. They are doing virtual fittings.
Hanes Brands (if there is a local store) has been very accepting of guys shopping for bras. My local store hasn’t resumed bra fits but the dressing rooms are open so you can try on bras to see what is comfortable. They carry Playtex, Bali, Maidenform and Glamorize along with Just My Size (JMS).
I find the department stores like JC Penney don’t carry bras above a 40 band. On line they do but if you need to return a purchase then it’s another trip.

Well gurl, from one plus sized diva to another I feel your pain. I have just as much side boob as front boob and have found that padded bralettes fit me well. The more us big gurls can move as much side boob to the front the better ;). Fashion Nova has one I really like. I am a 44-46in in the band size and my (size 2X) FN bralette fits me incredibly. Another gurl here mentioned Torrid which is really good. I have literally fallen in love with the online store of Hips&Curves, very CD friendly and great size and style choices.
I Love Torrid iam in the 44 range too the bras and tops are a bit pricey but us plus size girls have to look good too
Will have to give them a try Love the colors 44DD here
Hello ladies, new here
Wear a 42d bra.
Take care
My best to you all
Hi Terri,
Wait for Torrid to run a sale or a special on bras. I’ve seen their bras priced almost half price. Clearance bras might work for you too. Some are less than $25! Check to see if your local Torrid has your size. If not, the SA can check on the website for size and color. You can have the bra shipped to the store or your home.

dam, I agree, very confusing. took my measurements regarding bra size and ordered a few (first timer). one was for a transgender fit (wider chest where your titties and cups are). It was an underwire, wife told me I would regret that, sure enough wires poking through, but the fit was good. Second one very nice but the wire thing will happen soon I am afraid. Bralett from walmart size wrong, tight, but ok for awhile. Padded is sexy for me because of the size enhancement. but non padded with my nipples available is more erotic.
Still dont have a quality comfort bra though that I can wear all day. My wife says good luck
