I know, I know, another forum post about breast forms and/or plates. There are 100+ of them on here already I understand. But this is for us plus size gurls who want to wear breast forms and/or plates and the conventional traditional breast plates and forms may not actually fit and/or look right straight our of the packaging like it does for the more slender of us gurls. Is there a company that makes them with plus size physiques in mind? A breast form that can flow right with side boob that is there. Or a breast plate that is 46 inches or more that can fit over our existing boob flesh?

I am extremely interested in knowing because probably eventually I will be moving on to that.

So big/thick gurls on here, what have you heard?

Kisses...

Hi Quinetta,

Ask you questions of The Breast Form Store or Glamor Botique.  Both are great and CD friendly.

Some breast plates look great but you have to first do your homework. Royaner is thought to be a good brand. Plates are expensive, hot and fragile. I would suggest getting some silicone triangle forms because they are wider and cover the chest more and can be glued on a shaved chest. Bigger girls need bigger forms to look proportional and you can place them where they fit best.

Hey Alice,

I already asked the breast form store anad they basically said to hold off and don't get any of their current breast plates. They are supposed to be making breast plates for plus size physiques in the near future is the rumor. I'll look into the Glamour Boutique

Glamour Boutiques are the smaller ones.

Eyung has some for plus, get the L version rather than the S version.  I think it is 7th generation breast plate.

I appreciate it J King. I am looking though for breast forms or a breast plate that comes in darker tones so it can be as similar as possible to my own skin tone

A few personal observations on the subject (for the record I'm a 42 band size and can fit most 40s all right):

Be meticulous about your measurements, assuming you're like me and do your shopping online.  If a supplier does not list width/height/projection at least, ask for these measurements.  Don't gamble on cup size as it varies with the size of chest, country, manufacturer... you get the idea.  Be objective.

I was personally dissatisfied with my breastplate experience, despite being fairly meticulous as above I ended up with a set of too-large and too-closely-spaced melons.  I had to constantly keep adjusting to keep it from looking like I was just pushing them together, and of course it was stiflingly hot and uncomfortably tight around the neck.  Add to this a color mismatch (it was a cheaper brand and my options were limited) and you can see where this is going.  Credit where it's due though, they feel (and doubtless look) very realistic.

My go-to solution through much trial and error was settling on a good set of forms (in my case the Aphrodites; I cannot recommend these enough) which much m0re closely emulate the proportions of a plus-size woman (as in there's more width than projection, you get the side-boob, etc).  Are they perfect?  No.  But short of hormones or surgery it's probably the best I'll get.

Hope this helps!

Hey gurl, thank you so much for the information you gave. For me I am a 46 and love those non adjusting bralettes (that's what I call them since I do not know what they are actually called) that stretch from 44-46. I have quite a few of those and they will be my go to bra. I definitely look at measurements fiercely because I have bought from SHEIN, Fashion Nova, and Target/Walmart. I can take it a step further by saying I had a shapewear lady measure me for even more assurance. But similar to you with all of that I have bought some bad fitting bras. Anyways back to the breast forms, I assume the Aphrodites are on BFS? I'll have to check them out. What size(s) did you get in the Aphrodites? I want, like you do to have breast forms that help bridge the side boob into the front boob.

Skinny gurls, be thankful you ain't got big gurl issues like this lol.
