Last few weeks there has been a few subjects about breastplates, and the topic was whether they should buy a breastplate vs. breastforms.
Since I joined CDH, I've read experiences on both sides of the fence on breastplates. I've been on the fence about breastplates for a long time, slightly edging towards the no sale side (big reason was it gets hot and hard to put on).
The last 2 topics about breastplates there were some positive reviews on breastplates. So after alot of hemming and hawing, I decided to jump in with both feet and buy one from aliexpress.
I set my budget to around $150 - $175. After browsing many breastplates, I found a really nice one. It was around $220, more than my budget. But the ad said it was 6G, meaning the material was way stretchier, used no oil, and had dimples on the inside (like a golf ball). The ad claimed the dimples aided in cooling.
The breastplate was full torso, had a belly button, C cup (I based it on my breastforms, which is also C cup), sleeveless, and high neck. There was a choice between silicone filling or silk filling for the breasts, and I picked the silicone.
Once FedEx dropped it off on the front porch, I could not wait to try it on. My first impression was "it is really heavy".
I took the breastplate out of the package, and put it on. It was abit of a struggle, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. Due to the stretchiness of the material, it really helped with slipping my arms and head thru the holes. But I was really surprised at the size of the breasts. It was way larger than my C cup breastforms, much larger than I expected.
I wore the breastplate for most of the afternoon. I wanted to see what the new breasts would look like with some of the items in my wardrobe, so while I was doing multiple changes, I was starting to get warm wearing the breastplate. However, it wasn't like totally sticking to my skin, and after a short while I was able to cool down. I even took a short nap with it on, and it felt great.
Eventually, I had to take the breast plate off. I was fearing the worst, would I be stuck in it ? Would it be a struggle to take it off ? Again, due to the stretchiness of the material, I was able to take off the breastplate without too much of a hassle. I would compare putting it on/taking it off to putting on a snug t shirt, except the breastplate has way more give.
Note that I did not use any baby powder or anything to put it on or take it off. I found the material to be smooth enough that it glides over the skin easily. For comparison, I have a vagina shorts that I never wear because it is very gripply to put on, and it heats up quite abit too.
Overall, I do not regret splurging the $220 on the breastplate. The torso is a little short, as the breastplate's belly button do not line up with mine. As well, if I had to do it all over again I would pick a slightly darker colour (ivory is too light, I should have picked biege), and a B cup as C is really big.
Also of note is the grippiness of the silicone (outside). I have a 40B bra I wanted to try with the breastplate, but 40 band is way too small so I couldn't clasp the hooks on the back so I had to do the front hook/spin around thing. Due to the grippiness of the material, it made it hard to spin the bra around. So I can imagine putting on clothing that requires spinning around (like a skirt) would be a little tough.
I also plan on cutting down the high neck. The silicone pushes my flesh upwards so it makes me look like I have chipmunk cheeks.
With my wife at the office today, I plan on putting the breastplate on and wearing it for the full day to see what it is like. I may do some house chores and see how much I heat up in the breast plate too. I also have a 44/46 band DD cup bra I am gonna try on to see if that fits.
What's next ? I've been eyeing a pair of vagina pants, with functional plumbing. It supposedly is the same 6G material with dimples on the inside. Finding experiences with these are rare; there are a few posts on CDH about them, but they have been mostly negative. Alas, this will have to wait a while as the splurge on the breastplates took abit out of the budget.
Yes helpful advice and thank you Wendy
Thank-you for sharing Wendy.

Donna
Donna, what was your experience with the vagina panty ? I'm not as concerned about the heat generated as I am with the plumbing. Does the plumbing work well ?
if didn't have everything in the sheath good would be mess. Once all is in placed seem to work good. it was a transweet brand.
