I find shaving tedious at times. And how careful we need to be around the lip lines.

I find if I go carefully. Very carefully around the lipline with a pair of tweezers, I can remove hairs that shaving misses. My main culprit areas are the creases in the corners. And the cupids bow.

A little painful tweezing. And any hair right on that lipline seems to connect every nerve between my toes, ass, and sinuses when removed.

But the results are worth it. I get clean lines every time.

I, too, have the same issue, but at my age at least the offending hairs are white! I also use a lip liner the same color, or as near to the same color as my lipstick, to draw the lip line on and then it's just a matter of coloring between the lines!

Good luck! Lisa

Mary Jane, the more times you use your tweezers, the better it gets. Almost no pain now and no more tears for me. Cheers, Victoria.

No pain no gain or so it is said.

I think Celeste has it that the Gillette is the best a girl can get.

I lather up and shave in the conventional style.

Then I re lather and go back over but against the grain puffing out each cheek and then push the air around the lips to balloon out and go over again.

Rub in a moisturiser lightly and, while rubbing in, feel out any rough areas and go over a third time with a dry razor.

Apply moisturiser, let it dry then apply the primer.

I have done it this way for years now and can go for at least eight hours before feeling any stubble.

Wouldn't be so nice to have a smooth hairless face.....

I have occasionally pulled hairs from the corners of my nose with tweezers where the razor is just too wide to fit into the narrow spaces.  I find that the hairs now pull out easier with less pain.  I'm afraid to get much of the rest of the upper lip.  I have occasionally pulled a few other hairs but it is painful.  It's also where my facial hair is the densest, so pulling a few would not be productive.

I wouldn't try to pull too many hairs from my upper lip unless I can use something that will numb the area first.
