Since Dec15th I have been for the first time ever have started painting my nails and the last day of work before the holidays started I decide to go to work with fully painted nails, which I had a few compliments on. Since about 5 days ago I have settle on a colour which is glossy black polish and a clear glitter polish on top. The first time I painted my nails it was a more than a little messed up but now I'm happy with the little improvments I've made. I have a growing collection of nail polish which I'm sure will surpass my wife's collection of polish.
@amethystgold Getting your nails done is one of the best things. My first time I had them done in my college colors just before the football season started. If you look at my profile you can see my nails the first time out. I thought this might catch on but hey I love it.

My wife and I have a whole collection of nail polish that we share. Not sure if you've heard of the brand, but ILNP cosmetics makes the best nail polish I've ever used and all the colors are so fun! I was a little hesitant to go to work the first time with nail polish that wasn't black, but I'm completely over that now and wear bright shiny colors proudly

I've been to the salon many times with my wife Tina, and we always pick out fun colors.
Twice I've even gotten a set of nails put on, and though they are a pain to get back off (I always keep them as long as I can, and I'm certainly not getting them removed here in my little hick town) they are a joy for the 4-7 days I do have them...
My toes have been painted off and on (mostly on) since a family episode in '90, it's actually a running joke in the family... and my in-laws were in on it!
It feels so wonderful. The thrill of seeing your own pretty nails . You probably were in a pink fog the whole time too
@debbiedd two days ago I decided on glittery nail polish to keep on my nails until I go back to work in January. I even decided to kee my nails glittery even when I'm out in public in my every day male clothing. I love it.
