Just curious if any of you have a daily skincare ritual. In the evenings about 45 minutes before bedtime I wash my face with Cetaphil Daily Face cleaner using warm water and pat dry. I use L'oreal Revitalift moisturizer and lightly work into my forehead, around the eyes, and upper portions of my face.
After brushing my teeth I apply a light coating of petroleum jelly to my lips and work in some Cetaphil moisturizing cream on my hands and elbows. Yes, my elbow skin gets dry and rough this time of year! I also sleep with a humidifier in the room during the winter months so the air doesn't get too dry.
I use Oil of Olay on my face most every day after washing with a little scrubber (it is a rubbery material with little bristles on one side and nubs on the other.

I have a very simple routine but it certainly needs work. This is one thing that will be on my list of New Year's resolutions. That list is getting longer by the minute.......
For the bulk of my life my routine was: 1. Wake up, 2. Have skin. It seemed to work OK. 😉
Starting about 6 months ago, realizing that time and stress and life were taking their toll, to say nothing of applying and removing makeup, I was given an exfoliant by my GF and a facial moisturizer by the MAC lady. I use those...well, about every other day, if I'm being honest.
Yes I apply lubriderm lotion twice a day, the clinique moisturizer at night. Love what it does for my makeup.
This is a great topic Jessica. I am 70 and am trying to minimize wrinkles. In the morning I cleans followed by a couple of drops of hyaluronic acid on my moist face. Once it soaks in I apply Olay Ultimate, the red jar. The cleanser I use is Native Brightening Facial Cleanser. If I am going to be out in the sun I apply an Olay sunscreen. Every other day I use a rubber scrubber to exfoliate while cleansing. In the evening I cleans followed by and application on my dry face of ROC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum. I have found that this has been effective in reducing fine lines. After 10 minutes I follow that with Olay Ultimate, the purple jar. I have read that Retinol even for younger skin is benefitial as it helps keep your skin firm. I have also read that Retinol oxidizes when exposed to air so the Retinol in the Olay purple jar can loose its effectiveness. The ROC producf delivery method prevents exposure of the produce in the bottle to air.
Hi Girls,
I am a full time trans woman, and I'm also intersex. My daily skin care ritual is as follows:
At night time, I remove my eye makeup with a wonderful Clinique product called "Take The Day Off", I then wash my face with CeraVe hydrating cream to foam facial cleanser, it contains all the recommended "good stuff". I then use several more Clinique products, "Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion", "Moisture Surge Facial Overnight Mask", and "Moisture Surge Lip Plumping Treatment".
In the morning I do a quick rinse with the CeraVe cleanser, apply a "MAC Studio Radiance Moisturizing Primer" and then apply my foundation, which is MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation", This is by far the best foundation I have ever used, worth every penny!

lol, i am a full time human and i discovered long ago that the best way to take care of my face was to just not mess with it & let it do it's thing. the only time i will ever put soap on my face is immediately before i shave and then some moisturizer afterwards (there are about 3 or 4 i kinda rotate between) -- i don't wear much makeup, really -- otherwise, i leave my skin alone!!
