I'm some what of a perfectionist when it come to my makeup. Everything has to be just right. So here I am getting ready to make the change over to Edie. All my brushes are set in the order I will be using them and my makeup in easy reach so I don't have to go looking for them. Primer, concealer, foundation, powder, and bronzer go on with no problems. Now it time for those fanatic eyes and that where everything goes wrong. As I start to darken the wet line of my eyes they start to tear. Quickly I grab a tissue and dab to keep the liner from running down onto my foundation. Eventually I get control and continue to do my eyes. I start applying eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara with no more tearing but the eye just don't feel right. As I start applying the false eyelashes, the eyes start to tear again. If that's not bad enough, my nose starts to run. Eventually, after a lot of touch ups, I do finish my makeup though I continue to fight tearing eyes and a runny nose. Ever have one of those days?
Every time I do the eyes I tear up. Usually from sticking the pencil too close to the eye. I always have tissues next to me and I breathe through the nose to keep the sniffles away but the eyes always need tissues. U r not alone with that particular issue ... 😊
When I was young I never had allergies but along with wrinkles and bags I have acquired them as a present from father time. That being said, runny noses and makeup are not best friends! Yes Edie I have been there with you and understand exactly what you mean about wondering if your makeup is “right” the rest of the day.

Yes every time I do my makeup I finish all is done and my nose starts to run I dab but have to touch it up always and if I do not do it right I have a little more dark shadow showing than I want. For the eyes I do have them water at times but mostly my eyes blink when I apply mascara and then the mascara goes on the lid and below my eyes I have to clean it up. Again cue tip at the ready : ) But it feels like my makeup is not on right if I have to touch it up.
