Hey hey hey,
So here's the thing, I'm having real challenges with what to do with (how to manage) my brows. I keep them really neat and tidy with plucking/trimming but, as I'm not fully 'out out', I can't go after the full fem look I want (perfectly shaped arch to a pointed outer) 😔.
I've been practicing with blocking and painting them back on, which I've become pretty good at, but that'll only really pass from six feet away as you can still see the texture of my natural brow. Really cool for a Queen, but not really on point for someone trying to pass.
So my question is, what tips and tricks do you fine ladies have to turn your brows from drab day to naughty night?
Didi.
Didi... thanks so much for starting this discussion! I have the same issues for the same reasons and look forward to perhaps finding some solutions!
I keep my eyebrows trimmed as close as possible and plucked underneath to get a pretty fine line. My eyebrows are very sparse on the outside edges so it's not too hard to get my eyebrows to a point, but to get them arched without looking like a Neanderthal requires some doing!
Thanks again, Didi, for starting this discussion!

Go to someone that does brows.
Have them give you a unisex brow look.
You can "cut" the arch more with concealer when you dress.

I've got mine plucked to definitely the feminine side of androgynous, with a slight arch and defined thinning outward. I even put brow makeup on must days in drab, at work or otherwise, and defy anyone to say anything. Nobody has yet. I'm just running out of f's to give about what others think. I'm wearing hoop earrings at work too, and a butterfly ring, and a butterfly mask with sequins. I just don't care as much as I once did. That's my take, others may be less femme in public while in drab. And no, I'm not "out" either.

Hi Didi,
On my wife's recommendation I went to have my eyebrows shaped and dyed and now go once every six weeks. The other trick I have is using a mascara brush to shape and darken. It works really well with my old mascara tube as it's just about done. Otherwise I use a brush and eyeshadow to create the desired effect.
As I'm in my late middle age(!) I trim, tweeze and clip as I think bushy eyebrows only belong to tramps and eccentrics! Ugh!

Once again, Didi, you and I are on the same page even if we have different problems.
Mine eyebrows grow like hedgerows and the only saving grace is that they are going silver gray which means they are less obvious. Plucking and trimming is barely keeping them under control.
I spoke to Michelle who waxed me legs, torso and arms today and I am going to make an appointment to have her sort my eyebrows out for me. I would recommend that you do something similar because the professionals know more about these things than I do.
I now know that waxing stings, in some areas more than others, but the end result is well worth it in my opinion. I suspect that the same is going to apply to my eyebrows.
Hugs Rowena. 💚
