I feel tacky just saying it but has anyone bought clothing, or heels from temu? There a lot of things I would want to buy but I don’t really trust it. Is the sizing wonky, or is it terrible quality? Or is it worth a cheap buy?
I haven't
I have some Shien dresses. Both are Chinese companies. Like many overseas companies sizing varies. So it could be hit and miss. 🥰
Hi Chloe,
I've used both Temu and Shein. They're cheap and cheerful , so you can expand your wardrobe quite easily if you don't have much money. They both have sizing guides for all items, but that's always an issue when you buy online. To be honest, some things have gone straight into my charity bag.
I've found both dependable in terms of fulfilling orders. I'll keep using them.

I've also bought stuff from temu and shein.
On both sites, you really have to know your body measurements. When I first bought from shein, I donated more than I kept because I didn't know my measurements. Once I figured that out, I wound up keeping all my purchases.
I never bought shoes from either, only clothing. Each article of clothing has its own measurements, and they are fairly accurate. I've mostly purchases skirts, pull on no zippers. I also bought a few jumpsuits, and they've all fit well. Plus, the estimated shipping is really accurate and did not take long to receive.
Best part is, for budget minded folks like me the prices are very good.
Lastly, if you're looking for quality then either isn't very high so be aware.
l have not bought from temporary as l have heard a few complaints relating to quality and delivery issues. I have however bought quite a few clothing items from shein and delivery has been right on time and sometimes early. I haven't has any issues with sizing or quality so far
I have not bought from either of these companies. But friend of mine bought a t shirt with the words, "Hello darkness my old friend, I've got and hit my head again" LOL.
Caty.
I started my cross-dressing wardrobe with Temu and it was a good, cheap way to find my look. I also ended up with rashes on various parts of my body which I blamed on their over-use of formaldehyde in the clothing production and started washing everything before I wore it, which helped. As time went by though, I found that although the stuff was cheap and cheerful, I started becoming concerned about the ethics of cheap, throwaway clothing, it's effect on the environment, cheap labour, and the fact that it was not always very long-lasting.
I no longer buy anything from Temu and much prefer bricks and mortar shops, and sometimes online (proper shops though) stuff if I can't find my size in person. The clothes are better made and longer-lasting in that they keep their shape and quality.
Temu was good in the beginning but now I have found my style, I no longer need them.

PS I do still have one pair of shoes I got from Temu but they had a lack of quality that required me to have the heels repaired within the week as the originals shattered as a result of really cheap materials, they are fine now (until something else breaks).
I have bought a few bits and pieces and the quality is incredibly variable. None of it is top quality but some is surprisingly good for the money. As I understand it they are really just a shop front for a large number of Chinese manufacturers and Temu themselves don't really know what they are selling so there is just no quality control.
