Hi just wondering what everyone's favourite heels to wear are😊
I've always had a thing for patent stilettos in either court or Mary Jane style, I have worn 5 inch heels ( thinner the better) for over 20 years but recently I decided that this height wasn't enough of a challenge for me.
I now progressed to a 6 inch heel and purchased a couple of pairs one in black patent and a pair in red, which are both quite easy to walk in ☺️ then I thought I'd like to give a higher heel a try so I went on eBay and bought a pair of 7 inch stiletto boots, as my kids went away for half term and I am blessed to have a very understanding wife this gave me a whole week to practice.
I wore the boots every waking hour for a week and I can say that I have mastered walking in them..the only downside is that the kids are back home 😔
Hi Lauren
I can see why there stunning ☺️ x
no heels and starting at 12cm, I think you need to start lower and work your way up.
My lowest heels are around 7.5cm and I have them only because it's hard to find higher heel winter boots to an acceptable price.
I'm mostly walking around in 12cm and at that height I have no issues, don't even think about it.
Right now I have some 15cm heels and at that height I do think about it but still pretty ok walking around. (just note that at that height even a small bump can cause one to trip when the heel becomes 2cm taller)
As for style, I love stiletto heels but can't wear them outside to much, the heel tip wear down in no time.
Pumps, sandals and such - yes. ankle/knee/thigh high boots - yes.
Platform - no thanks, never found the taste for that (but still have a few).
I have an old pic of my shoerack in my gallery.

I want to keep things practical. High heights aren't my goal. I have enough 4" heels to keep me busy for quite a while. There is no problem controlling them, but they aren't practical in public, so far.
My latest pair are about 2.5" leather pumps. I think they finally won't hurt my feet, but they needed stretching in the right places. I got them to see what I can get away with in public, but the heels are noisy enough to draw attention, so there goes that plan.
There are no perfect heels.
Wedge heels are one of my favourite styles. I find them comfortable to wear and walk in xx
Never more than 2-3" inch, (50/75cm). I have a bad back and knees and anything higher will just end up giving me pain. In public, invariably 50cm block heels for comfort and stability.
Take them to a shoe repair store/cobbler and have a thin layer of rubber put on the sole and/or heel. I used to do that all the time in the UK.
Before I had the money to go and get them fixed professionally. if the soles/heels were slippery leather I would walk up the cinder back yard path and scuff them by shuffling until I got some grip. Memories. Best, Marlene.
I have some gripper pads, but they don't seem to dull the sound. When the heel wear tips are worn down, I will ask Tony for help. (His English name really is Tony.)
4” straps wedge sandals…
They show off my sexy painted toes and pretty toe rings.
Heels, especially strappy stilettos at least 4 in high, often 5 1/2 - 6 in high.
I do love ballet flats too, low wedges, anything strappy.
I love heels.
Hi Penelope, My go out shoes are usually pointy black leather pumps with a skinny 3 to 4 inch high heel. Marg
Well, I can no longer wear any kind of heels due to losing my left leg in a motorcycle accident. Just cant wear heels with a prosthetic leg. It's a shame because I used to love wearing heels and I also had a nice pair of legs. My favorite heels were a pair of black mary janes with a 3 inch heel. Nothing really special but oh so comfortable with enough of a heel to enhance my legs and butt. Lol

Stilettos, wedges, sling back, mules or over the knee boots 6” up are my favorites maybe because I don’t have any problem walking around for as long as 4-6 hours.
A nice pedi is I must to make an statement;)
