I am a hairy girl. I have real problems keeping my body hair free. When I wax I get red bumps. When I nair I get red bumps. When I shave I knick myself, and then I get red bumps. How do you girls deal with body hair?
Mia,
what type of razor shaving cream do you use?
Soak in a warm bath, a scented candle and some good music, and then a sharp razor. The candle and music have nothing to do with the shaving, just create a nice ambiance🤣Moisturise afterwards.

I usually just use dove soap, it works better than shaving cream
Mia I totally feel you on this one! This is the million dollar question! I saw an ad last night advertising a razor for women's pubic area... going to give it a try. I'm open to all suggestions

What razor do you use?
Do you remember what it was called?
If you don't want any hair then Laser is the only way, it cost a bit more to start with but the savings are far greater in the long term
I don't but if I see it again I'll post it. First one to try it has to tell the other their reviews on it?
Sounds like a plan!
keep waxing. your body is not used to getting waxed so you react to it. After waxing, make sure you exfoliate for 2 or 3 days after. If after 3 sessions of waxing, then maybe your skin won't adjust. Then you have no choice but expensive laser treatments.
It's made by Venus! Just saw the commercial about an hour ago.
Waxing and nair have proven to give me the same red itchy bump issues. SO uncomfortable.
So, I tend to shave. I've been lucky about no nicking myself and I only had bumps one time, I went "against the grain" in the pubic area to get a closer shave the very first time. I got some advice afterward from a GF that was ALWAYS go with the grain in that area.
I also created bumps and ingrown hairs when I tried to touch up with my rotary norelco razor....HUGE mistake!!!!
If you have sensitive skin, like I seem to, shaving REGULARLY has been my best bet. I have noticed that if I wait a while and shave, I get a more severe reaction. If I shave every few days, skin gets used to the activity and doesn't freak out.
Hope that helps,
XOXO

Thank you for the advice, Rayna. I will give that a try.
