I felt so pampered during my makeover experience ..
Application of makeup, trying on wigs (LIGHT or DARK) I felt so sexy trying on my first tight little black dress... Unfortunately Cinderella had to go home.
Hi Leonara ,
Like you I love having makeovers , pampering , feeling special & totally femme. I go for 4 year with full knowledge by my wife , so far I've had about 5 or 6 , every time is fabulous , especially as Arpi
( Owner of House of transformation ) gets to know me . We play around with my style , usually get 5 or 6 outfit changes .I adore having my makeup put on , especially the false eyelashes 😉😉. I spend the rest of the week just floating around , feeling so euphoric .
I feel so incredibly complete & it fills my femme soul totally , to see what a professional can do is unbelievable , I wouldn't hesitate to say that every crossdresser should do at least one. Indeed it does come to an end , but the emotional fulfilment is delightful......then we look forward to the next one .....💅👠👛👗👜👚👢💄
Hi girls,
At last count I have had the pleasure of at least 8 makeovers here in "Oz" and quite a few more in my "traveling for work days of yore".
Here's my story about one of them.
MAKEOVER TESTIMONIAL. (2015)
Some two years ago, when “due to circumstances beyond their control”, the one known and functioning crossdressing makeover service in Melbourne ceased to operate. This led me to suggest to some of the interstate folks operating this service should consider a “working holiday” and come on down to Melbourne to do a makeover for myself and another CD friend. One of these was the wonderful and lovely Ophelia from Cross Dress With Class from Sydney.
Whilst nothing other than a very long and “deep and meaningful” exchange of emails ever came of this, little did all concerned know or realise at the time that fate would intervene and Ophelia would end up running Cross Dress with Class from an address in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs.
We had finally met in person at the Sea Horse ball in Sydney last August when she kindly agreed to let this Ball “newbie” sit at her table and we just then had to wait for enough time to elapse before a/. She was established in Melbourne and b/. I could find the time and space to visit her new “abode”.
Thus the day dawned in mid May 2015. Living in regional Victoria about 2 hrs out of Melbourne meant I was up very early on the appointed morning, shaved, moisturised and to save time on arrival, I was dressed in Caty’s finest bra cami and French knickers under my drab. Plus two pairs of panty hose to hide my “pine forest” of leg hair. (More on this subject later).
Being a Saturday the good news was light traffic all the way and I arrived at the appointed address in time to have a quick walk around a nearby park before presenting myself to Ophelia to be turned into Catherine Louise Ryan, “mature “woman about town:…… Or as is obvious, Caty for short.
We had communicated prior with my objectives for the day:
1. False nails and eyelashes, (my male hands are too big and clumsy for these tasks and I cannot use glue for the nails, they have to come off when change-back time comes).
2. Tho I’ve happily been in the closet for many many moons, the urge to go public was coming back with a vengeance, so given the location of a huge park behind Ophelia’s place, the going public in the park was going to be an easy first step back into the world.
Due to our prior meetings Ophelia granted me “special permission” to be made up in “her” part of the house, so after changing out of my boy clothes and inserting my breast forms, I found myself laying back almost horizontally in a recliner chair whilst she worked her make up magic. This of course included the false press on nails and eyelashes, plus shaved backs of Caty’s big male hands. This made them look at least feminine if not a touch big.
To say all concerned were astounded at the transformation is an understatement. I sure did not look like the male me when she had finished and as per previous other makeovers, the best part of all for me is as a female I look 15-20 years younger than the male me. I thought I looked and I certainly felt just plain wonderful.
There was one interesting aside during this time. Ophelia used one of my breast forms as an arm rest whilst she worked. This moved me to comment; “If that was real I dare say I’d be in pain by now”.
So make up completed, wig in place, plus photos of that segment of the day, then a quick lunch/lippy repair and into the “outside world” photos. Initially within the confines of Ophelia’s residence and then wait for it….. For the first time in 20 years, dressed in a nice black skirt and orange long sleeve top, with flat heel black shoes for walking, Caty appeared in public via a “walk in the park”. A twenty minute park stroll accompanied by half a squillion photos and a feeling within Caty of “I can do this”. Lots of people passed us and no one as much as looked sideways at the three women having a walk in the late afternoon sun.
Thence “back to the ranch” for photos in a lovely blue sequined cocktail dress, tho’ I’m not sure sitting on an exercise bike is the correct “background”. But hey it was “different”… so why not.
Throughout this whole time frame the two pairs of panty hose would not stay up, so Caty’s going back to stockings and suspenders forthwith. Time to leave and then the next “going public” challenge arose. Caty had not driven car in public for the same 20 years and given the coolish time of year and the shortened days, meant it was feasible to leave Ophelia’s and drive home in her favourite 3 piece Blue Fella Hamilton ensemble.
Of course this would never had occurred unless I was solo at home and being dark on arrival meant no pesky neighbours could see me driving in, so I left at dusk and not only enjoyed the feelings of my breasts rubbing against my arms as I held the wheel, but also as cars passed me I could see my false nails, my “hairdo” and sections of my make up in the mirror in their headlights as they overtook me The next “challenge” was to stop into a small country servo and buy a litre of milk. The first one had just shut, so I had to find another one a bit closer to home. So that’s two lots of servo lights, Caty negotiated without a hitch. This old girl was getting a bit daring in her dotage.
In order to get to the first country servo I had to drive down a main road in the outer suburbs with lots of traffic lights. I actually ran a red light and a. did not have a very bad accident. And b. did not get pulled up by the police. So I am certain the “CD angel” was looking after me in this instance.
Home well after dark and dinner and one of Caty’s very best white wines to celebrate her “emergence”, followed by bed and the wonderful feeling of lovely soft femme PJ’s and sleeping braless. Make up stayed on overnight and then a lovely “femme” shower with shower cap on over “my hair”, plus soaping up “my breasts” with hands with false nails still on.
ENDS.

When I first began dressing fully fem, my girlfriend used to do my makeup. I was always thrilled with how pretty she made me. After her I did it on my own. I never was that good at it. I always seemed to overdo it and often made myself look cheap and tarty. That wasn't all bad because at times I was just going to stay home or if I was going to a party I always tried to make myself look as sexy as possible.
Then there came a long period where except for pantyhose I wasn't dressing at all. When I decided to dress again I went to a local lingerie boutique that had crossdressing clients. I went there to inquire about it. There was another guy there looking over at me and looking very nervous. I figured he was looking to buy some lingerie but was nervous about it with another guy around. I saw that lots of times while buying pantyhose. I decided to leave for a while and let him relax.
When I returned he had left. I told the owner I had crossdressed a lot in the past and was looking to do it again and noticed you do that. She told me there had just been a gentleman in earlier who wanted to get into crossdressing but was very nervous about even asking about it. When you came in he just froze up. I explained how I thought he seemed really nervous so I figured I would leave to let him relax. If I had know he was in here for that, maybe we could have met, talked and and had some fun and supported each other. She set up an appointment where we could come in, meet and do some dressing.
The next time we met things were much more relaxed. we talked about that awkward first time encountering each other, how things were awkward and how we were there for the same thing and could have had fun with it.
We did some shopping and trying on things. I was drawn to a couple of pairs of sexy pumps. I tried them on and had to have them. I discovered pantyhose I never saw before. Wolford Neon Fatals. A shiny tan sheer to waist pantyhose with no seam or gusset. I had to try on a pair knowing once I put them on I owned them. They were crazy expensive compared to pantyhose I was familiar with but I had to try them. They were incredible. So soft and silky. They looked amazing and the experience of no seam or gusset was amazing. I bought the pair I was wearing and two other pairs in my size.
My new friend was trying on some of his own things and we got to discuss what we liked and how each other looked. I tried on and added some lingerie to my purchase. Then I found a short, pretty blue pattern dress that was just perfect. The sexy pumps,Wolford pantyhose and that dress was me. I tried on a few bras. I'll take them. Tried some breast forms. I never had these. They were nice. I found the size I thought would be the most flattering and put them in my bra. In the meantime my friend was putting his own look together. His style was different from mine. We often commented about what each other was choosing and why we liked it.
Now it was hair time. I tried on different styles and colors. I used to go for Daisy Duke style hair back in my earlier dressing days. I wanted to start there. I didn't like it. Now I looked like an aging rocker with long, wavy hair. I tried on a few others. There was a blonde shoulder length with bangs that framed my face nicely. I liked it but was told blonde is not really my color. I should have brown or auburn. She got a couple of wigs in the same style of the blonde wig. I liked both the brown and auburn equally. I'll take them both. She also had a brown, short bob style wavy wig with a part on the side and a bang that covered one eye. I could push the bang back or flip my head and the hair would go to the side. I liked that. I'm wearing that one.
My friend had been finishing up his wardrobe too. He was going more with a black goth style. Thigh high boots, black fishnets, black leather mini skirt, black top with lots of silver jewelry, a black leather vest and a dark black, long curly wig. Not my style but he did look damn good. Now it was makeup time. He got the dark goth look. I got the more ordinary just try to make me look good look.
We were done. We looked at each other complimented each other on our look and took a bunch of photos. The we were asked if we would like to go out. I was, "let" try it". He was, " I don't think so". We decided to look outside and see if there was anyone around and maybe just go outside for a few seconds. When we looked out the door, there was several people walking by. We were contemplating. OK. Lets just step outside, look around like we are looking for something then come back inside. That's what we did. It was like I was showing him where something was. Then we went back in. He was like, "that was amazing. I was so nervous but it was so exciting". My car was parked right outside the shop. Let's take what we bought and put it in my car. We'll walk across the sidewalk. Open the door, put the things in the car, then turn around and come back in. We stood there getting our nerve up. Ok. You ready? Let's go. We walked out to my car with our bags, opened the door, put the bags in, closed the door and walked back to the shop. We were giddy. It was amazing what we were doing so scary and exciting.
We got together for several more makeovers. We even had others join us. It was great. Each time we went out and ventured a little further. Our eventual goal was to walk from the shop to the corner, cross the street, come back on the other side then cross the street by the shop and come back in. One time when we were halfway to the corner and our fears were telling us to turn around and go back, we decided to just do it. We were even walking fairly slowly to prolong the time we were out and partly because in our heels, we were not going anywhere in a hurry. It was a great and amazing experience.
I had a wonderful experience at N2 The Looking Glass in Las Vegas recently. I was in town for a work commitment and it was the most wonderful thing to be able to slip away and have some gurl fun. The staff was amazing ,the quiet atmosphere and personal attention were wonderful. Makeup, wigs and clothing are all available and at reasonable prices.
Hi all, I had one this past Saturday and loved it. I was able to hang around with a bunch of people afterwards and I couldn't believe how natural it felt. My profile picture is from the makeover. Hope you like it.

Crystal,
You look amazing..thank you for sharing your experience..
You look fabulous 😊 Tiff
Early 2009 I had a full professional transformation at Over the Rainbow Transformations (OTR) in Portland, OR USA. It was the most incredible and life changing day. I would recommend anyone new to this or looking to see What's Possible to search for this service and make an appointment. Whether expensive or not in your situation if you find the correct place it will be the best money you ever spend.
I have recommended OTR many times and know 6 to 10 who have gone plus met many others in the process of this magical day when I visit.
The visit consisted of a half days time but was really a full day. All the makeup and accessories, wig and photos in 3 complete outfits. Ended up with around 100 photos and a memory that will last forever.
Sandy
I have had several makeovers in Seattle and San Francisco, mostly at MAC and Clinique. Also, here in Seattle and Over the Rainbow in Portland. I loved all of the different styles and techniques the artists used.
Hi Leonara,
I have not had a makeover but really want to get one soon. Does anyone know of any Southern California locations? Another lady asked for any SoCal locations but didn’t get any results. Any help would be appreciated.
‘Thanks,
Angela
Thanks Sandy for sharing your makeover experience.
I loved the pampering I received and may I quote you? "life changing day" it's so true
Leonara
I'm looking forward very much to getting a makeover with Leonara.
Great idea Patty ..Let's see if we can co-ordinate our makeover with Karen ... It will be great experince....
I would love to go for a makeover to get some insight on how to attend to my eyes. I have heavy eyelids and baggy skin underneath. At this point, I skip the eyes, do the rest, and wear large sunglasses whenever I go out. The small city I live in is too small to get a makeover in public, so I will need to go out of town for something like that and any town remotely nearby is much smaller. Not sure what type of place I could find. Everyone on this thread seems to live in larger cities where it would be easy for a CD to find somewhere to get a makeover. Any ideas for a small town gal in stealth mode?
