One of the first things on this site that caught my attention was the brunette with purple nails and plum shaded lipstick, who graces this forum. I adore the look, so I wondered if I could pull off those shades as well as she. The lip color was kind of out of my comfort zone (I'm a classic red girl), but I threw caution to the wind and did my nails and my lips just like the model. I thought my Saturday night dinner outing would be just the event to show off the new shades.
I have to say, I'm still all about red lips, but I did actually like the plum shade. I'll most likely wear it again sometime. As for the nails, well I loved the purple and I'll wear this particular shade a lot. Of course, I consider my nails an accessory, so every time I go out, I wear a different shade. I'm just not so adventurous when it comes to my lips; it's usually, always red.
