Hi Ladies, this is a question I've wanted to ask but I've never had anyone to ask until now. I spent years wearing uncomfortable bras until I realised, after looking at various websites, that I needed to properly measure myself. For the last 10 years or so every bra I've worn has been comfortable. That's not to say I've been glad to take my bra off after wearing it all day but wearing the right size bra means that I'm comfortable for most of the day. Are you bras comfortable? I'd love to know. Wendy. X

Have bought a few with poor reults,  Wife chuckled when I showed her a few that had wires, she said I would regret those and for sure she was right.  Most comfy bra for ling time wear is my wifes throw away bra that I fished out of the the trash.  I have a few from Torrid that are very comfy as well but very padded and creates a nice bust line that needs to stay home for now.  But no more wires for me!!

All mine are so comfortable sometime feel like not wearing anything at all.  Did measure myself first time with a fabric tape measure. Then compared my numbers to a fitting had at VS. Was right on the money for measurment.  There are some cheaper bra's bought thinking band size be same and cup size was wrong there. Each brand is somewhat different. Goes for same size clothing and brand size.  Seems like my go  to bra's are VS fit me so good.

My bra's are comfortable to wear all day. Once i had my bra fitting and was shown how to adjust them correctly i hardly notice i am wearing one when dressed. Fit and adjustment are important for them to feel nice and comfortable.

Once I measured myself for the right sized bra they have been comfortable.

I wear underwired bras when femme 90% of the time and if you get the sizing right they are just as good as any other style. I like the way the underwires support my breast forms, especially when I've bee able to adhere them to my chest.I dont do "cheap" either, so upscale brands may be made for a better fit.

The other 10% is when I wear an 18/40AA bra during the colder months under my heavier "drab". These dont come with wires anyway

I'm a 40B and I LOVE wearing a bra. I'm very comfortable and the sensations of womanhood are almost beyond words.

I always wear underwired bras. Now I know my right cup size the wires don't dig in. Like all of us, I love wearing bras. I always wear full cup lace bras and always try and wear matching knickers. That's another question; who wears matching underwear? I always try to. My favourite knickers are brazilians, they're soo comfy and sexy as well.

I have worn Wonderbra for over fifty years as they are very comfortable and offer great support for my forms.

Hi Wendy, thanks for this post. I was en femme for all but a couple of days the last 2 weeks or so, wearing a bra all day and well into the late evening so I could soak in every minute of gurl-time.

I bought a multi-pack of bras on amazon a while back that should have been the same size and style. One or two of them don't fit as well and can dig in at the bottom or sides. I've found that adjusting the straps a bit can make a real difference too.

So even if you are getting the proper fitting, there are small differences in the same brand and style. It does get a little frustrating - now we know what GGs deal with! But isn't it a wonderful problem to have? (giggle!)

I have yet to find an underwire bra which is comfortable (my wife had the same problem), but all of my others are fine. Those that weren't were dumped.

For me, comfortable bras become a matter of quality. When I started this journey in earnest, I did not see myself spending money on a bra.  I understood from the women (mom,, sister, wife) in life that a proper fitting bra was important. As such, I measured myself, and had that measurement confirmed by a fitting.  Yet, my early bra purchases were not comfortable, and I hated to wear a bra for more than a few hours.  However, when I elected to purchase quality, and to spend the money associated with such quality, I found comfort and the needed supported.

I have been wearing a bra for almost 3 years now.  While I am usually glad to lose the bra at the end of day, my bras (all Torrid and Cacique) are comfortable.  My current favorite is Torrid's 360 degree. However, my bras are not inexpensive.

It took a while to find the right bra. I finally settles on a 40C Bali underwire model. I use DIY forms (rice) which are quite real looking. I find the underwire is needed to give me the proper shape and projection..When I wear a non underwire model I droop and sag.

All said and done when I remove my bra in the evening it is a mild relief.I then slip into a bralet with Bcup forms.  More comfortable but I miss some of the fem feelings I get when fully dressed in my Bali.

Once I found my size they have been comfortable and hold everything in place. I wear underwired bras and wear them for a full day and have no issues with comfort. I buy from my local outlets and if I find a particular bra I like I will buy a couple as I am a popular size.
