Never thought I’d say this but, I like knee high nylons. Yes, I know. They’re for grannies and people who can’t or don’t want to handle the whole experience of pantyhose. But, as far as function? Incredibly useful. You can wear a longer skirt and have something on your legs that make a nice complement to the ballet flats without getting all up in your business. And cheap. Picked up two pair for 99 cents at the Wally Mart.

Ok...not my preferred but I can see your point. Maybe if your doing Jeans and Heels...thats a good example too.
As long as you DONT roll them down to your ankles and pair them with sensible sandals like 'nana did your fine! LOL!!

I can possibly see wearing them with jeans and heels but never with a skirt. I have seen too many woman do this and it is so unflattering to see the tops of the knee highs below the hemline of the skirt. Personally, even with jeans, I would still wear my thigh highs (or even a garter belt).

Personally, I like my knee high nylons, I use them instead of socks in male mode and also when I wear femme trousers, leggings or with a long dress. Of course, I am 74 and probably expected to wear them. LOL.
I like them. I'm wearing some right now, and often do at work, under socks to keep my feet warmer, and much easier to deal with at work than tights. I'll wear them with leggings or jeans, or tight pants. Today, I've got knee highs, heels, a tight pair of red and black pants from Torrid, a cacique bra, tank and a black blouse with a gold print butterfly, and my new red wig. They with with this outfit, but I wouldn't with a skirt unless it was really long.

but to be honest, my friend Rei Durden did a post about " tucking" several months ago...which involved tying up your " tackle", sometimes using knee highs...I still giggle uncontrollably just thinking about that post...and the images of it have destroyed any sensible use I could have of such hosiery....

Oh, indeed I remember that post...Ms Durden’s Torture Device I believe it was called. I’ll keep mine only up to my knees. No lower but also no higher.
