Hi ladies,

Has anyone ever been on that part of the Her Room site called "Lingerie for Men"

https://www.herroom.com/lingerie-for-men.aspx

I've been very interested in all the styles and responses mentioned here and its great that vendors like Her Room are so helpful. There's lots more like them around the world, but I reckon this firm have gone that "extra bra strap"

Also I love browsing

https://www.thelingerieaddict.com/

there's also

https://shop.hommemystere.com/

But where's the fun in wearing lingerie for "blokes". "Proper" femme stuff is much nicer!!

I wont put the link in here in case its 'off limits". But I also found a site called "brasierred"

lots of "interesting" stories about women dressing their partner in lingerie

I for one can only "sigh and wish".

Caty

Hi Caty,

I've tried lingerie for men (not from this specific site) but one similar.  It was just not the same!  Something was missing, and that something was, it was not womens lingerie!

The first site I bought anything from was XDress.  The fact that they had matching his and hers bra & panty sets made it less scary for where I was mentally at the time.

I've looked at Her Room and the Lingerie Addict for sure. The things at Her Room are nice, but I'm inclined to side with those who favour women's lingerie.

The Lingerie Addict is certainly very interesting, and worth looking at.

I'll check out the other site too.

I think there's been some misunderstanding about Herroom's 'lingerie for men' page. The info presented there is most definitely for cd's and transwomen that want to purchase real women's lingerie. A significant amount of Herroom's business comes from girls like us. Having a 'lingerie for men' page is savvy marketing. I've found their info helpful when trying to determine my correct size. It's worth a look - or several.

This Herroom page has a more info about sizing: https://www.herroom.com/lingerie-for-men,1408,30.html

Lingerie Addict is a gem. Written by a woman that's doing her life's calling. If you love lingerie and want to learn more about it, this is one of the best places to go. The reviews are excellent. I visit the site every week.

I've been to some sites selling lingerie designed for men. What's the point? I think they've grossly misjudged their market and won't last.

I went to that brassierred site. Zero interest in being transformed into someone else's vision of what a woman should be. I'm driving the bus thank you very much!

I think the key in the whole debate here of women's lingerie-vs-men's lingerie  is the 'forbidden fruit' aspect of women's lingerie.  If the marketers call their underwear  "men's panties" or "manties", that is an attempt to remove the forbidden fruit aspect of our underwear.  So what's the fun in that?  Nothing has changed in thousands of years.  Just like Adam and Eve, the forbidden fruit appears more tantalizing than the OK stuff.  Just human nature I guess.

Over the years I’ve bought a few things from XDress.  It is good stuff, but I only buy it on a good sale!  Their bodysuits fit great and a lot of their stuff is good underdressing to wear under drab jeans, mens suits for work,  etc.

I've known about Her Room for years and have purchased some panties there for me and my wife.  It was the first normal, legit retailer I found that addressed helping CD customers.  I couldn’t believe it!!

I’ve also found several reviews on Swim Outlet from men reviewing one piece swimsuits.  That gave me a lot of confidence.  So many men saying “this swimsuit is so comfortable and looks good.  It should be marketed for men as well!”  I couldn’t agree more.

Similarly, I think lingerie sites could include pictures and reviews from men in lingerie.  A separate drop-down menu option so it isn’t visible unless a person clicked on it.  Of course, I believe the images of men confidently wearing lingerie should just be out there and be normal, just like women wearing lingerie (because it IS normal), but the conservative nature of many businesses wouldn’t allow such outward and modern expression.  They would fear it was some kind of pornography.  I hope they’ll get on board with their marketing someday and realize that there is a HUGE market for this... that many men (maybe even most men?) would wear silky soft comfy underdressing if it didn’t have such a negative stigma attached to it by the bigoted mainstream.

Gendered clothing rules are SOOO 20th century.  Can’t we move on?

Sorry.  Long reply to a great forum thread.

I bought a underwire from Homme Mystere and it's just ok. The band was very narrow and the fit was just not right. I prefer my bras and panties to be women's, they fit better and feel better. I really like Bali Hi-cut panties for everyday wear and buy them when they are on sale from any vendor that specializes in women's lingerie like Kohl's or Fresh Pair. I also wear Bali shapewear panties, they hold me in for a nice flat look under shorts or jeans and any dress that is close fitting. For bras I love wearing Glamorise front close lace bras. They fit great and hold forms easily. And it is hard to beat Rago for open bottom girdles and other extra firm shapewear.

Lingerie for men seems so not me. Feminine lingerie with slight shape adjustments for the male anatomy (hips, crotch, chest, height) differences would be nice. Mote GGs would like that too, they too have so many body shapes and difference that aren't hourglass.

My wife bought me some a few years ago, but honestly, I find it gross and repelling.

There's something very, very compelling about women's underwear that just feels right - and I have no problems with the fit.

I prefer everyday wear to the more provocative lingerie, as, if you get the right size, they fit so perfectly you forget you're wearing them until you change clothes, etc. I have only worn ladies underwear for the best part of the last 2 years. I'm thinking of throwing out all my male under garments as I just can't bring myself to wear the horrible things - they're so not me.

I long ago gave up caring if anyone, such as a doctor, saw me in them - it may be women's underwear, but it's also mine. I bought it, I wear it, and I love it!!

Love Laura

To Stephanie Plumb and anyone else who read my post above.

As we say in the Australian Parliament, "Point of Order Mr Speaker".

My post was intended  to highlight how Her Room assists our community in selecting and wearing lovely femme frillies and in turn how they deserve our custom. (I spent a few shekels not so long ago all the way from OZ. Service and garments, top notch.)

Anything else in the post was just a general observation on what else is out there. I was neither advocating or dismissing any  particular brand or website.

Plus, I'm yet another who definitely prefers femme lingerie adn was not all that happy with the few Homme Mystere branded pieces I bought

"Whatever fills your bra cup" ladies

Happy dressing
