As a confessed lipstick addict I’m always on the hunt for something new and at a price that won’t empty my purse…. Yesterday I was in Marshalls (a discount clothing store here in the U.S. if you haven’t heard of it) as my male self looking for male clothing and my way back out of the restroom I noticed a section of the store devoted to beauty products so I discreetly (at first) checked it out and discovered some fantastic bargains!! Definitely worth a quick look if any of you are looking for lip or eye makeup - big names at deep discounts…
I’m normally an NYX, L’Oreal, Maybelline girl, but do have a couple of high end lip pies - my lone prize being a Givenchy. At this particular Marshalls I found a selection of MAC, Bobby Brown, Anastasia BH, and NARS lipsticks and was genuinely surprised to see those brands for sale in this store!
I ended up finding 3 great colours for me, each in a different formulation, from MAC for $7.99 each. I checked the MAC website this morning and found that only one of them is a discontinued colour, but the other two are still for sale from them at $22 each.
Wanted to share this with you all just in case there are other bargain hunters out there who might benefit from knowing this!
Am I missing any other bargain sources out there? Please do tell!
Marcellette
I also run by the bargain bin for cosmetics, and usually I don't find anything that I like. However, one time I found l'oreal foundation in classic ivory, and the seal was still intact so bonus ! I prompty bought that.
I found a black eyeliner in a local drug store, but this was the first time I've ever used a mechanical pencil eyeliner. As it turns out, it has become my fave eyeliner as the mechnical pencil style is easy to use, you never have to sharpen it, and it goes on really smooth and easy. Unfortunately I only bought one and now I can't find that brand anywhere. On the plus side, I now try to find mechnical pencil style eyeliners rather than the old style pencil eyeliners which you have to sharpen every so often.
