I love wearing lipstick. I have some Revlon Ultra HD Vinyl lip polish that I adore. But… it transfers to everything. Any ‘tricks’ to get it to set so it transfers less?
thanks
Megan
Hi Megan,
I've never tried the lipstick you're refering to but I always wanted to try those 24 hour lipsticks since you get no transfer at all with them. My concern was could you remove the lip stick and if you could what do you use. So with good old google's help. I found a few who said Vaseline would remove it fairly easily. So I bought the lipstick and used it for our 3 day Girls Weekend in Kelowna just in case it didn't take it all off. But I tried the Vaseline and it worked great in removing all traces of the lipstick.

The one I am referring to has some stain in it which concerns me for shifting back to drab. I have used Vaseline and also so removers made specifically for lipstick and they both seem to work about as well.
Hi Megan, I use a brand called LipSense. It's lipstain with an alcohol base. This makes it water resistant. It's not inexpensive, but it doesn't transfer to anything. For removal I use the Neutrogena makeup wipes (though even then it takes a little effort), but when out and about it stays on great!

PS - you'll also probably want one of their glosses. I usually use the plain Glossy, but YMMV 😉
I use Maybelline 14 or 24 hour normal lipstick and find it stays on even when eating and drinking.. Comes off with Vaseline very easy. Not tried gloss or any inks yet but really want to. My make up skills need lots of work lol
I use Maybelline 16 hour lipstick. Comes off with Neutrogina makeup wipes but takes a little effort.
I use clinique, goes on nice and stays. Love the colors they have.
Tips on getting lipstick to set?
I have a good GG friend that sells LipSense. She always looks good and it never comes off on the glass when drinking. I don't use it because it's really too permanent for me since I'm only dressed for a few hours.
I will have to try some of the long-lasting lipsticks mentioned but to be honest, I love to leave some lipstick behind. I find the lipstick. marks left on a wine glass are quite sexy as are lipstick lips on my wife's breast
