Am I delusional? Since beginning to wear mascara I believe my eyelashes are getting longer. I know they look longer with the mascara on, that's part of the magic of mascara. But without mascara they seem longer. I know this because as an older person (I will be 69 on Thursday, but Beth will stay at 56) I was lamenting how short and thin my eyelashes were getting. Since using mascara they have thickened and lengthened. As i said this is even without mascara.
Is this for real or am I delusional? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Beth, I don't think your delusional. Some mascaras have Keratin as an ingredient. Keratin makes hair grow, that's why it's added to some shampoo.
I've been taking generic hair, skin, and nail pills for a couple of years, but recently had to switch to Biotin pills, and I think I've noticed a similar result in my lashes. A few months ago I was thinking about getting false lashes with magnetic eyeliner for attaching them, now I don't think I'll need them. Also last week I got my first tube of mascara as a gift at Sephoria and I bought another tube and an eyelash curler over the weekend. Soon I hope to be able to bat and wink my eyes like any GG.
