Being "locked" down here in The Great White North has been a real "drag", but there have been some benefits. With my social bubble shrunk I have been able to let my locks lengthen even longer. I measured it today and...22" Like wow! I "long" for longer though and look forward to safely being back in a salon chair for a real colour, condition and ends trim.
How about all of you Rapunzels'?
Hi Harietta I have been the girl/ hippy all my life so hair has allways been long as i could let it get .. My different jobs wouldnt let it grow to much till was told to cut but now its getting there as this job i have know dosent care as long as its clean so its getting to maybe 6" past my shoulders my wife helps keep it trimed and looking pretty when Stephanie comes over for a visit which is quite often he he ..

Hi Harietta! Absolutely letting my hair grow and it can't grow fast enough. Just finally getting to my shoulders in the back, so I still have a ways to go. To be honest, I find myself fretting more and more about my hair every day, and spending more time on it ( and cursing it, it just will not behave sometimes lol ). Its important up here too, that hair helps keep the ears warm during these cold Canadian winters.
Just dont get me going about the static!!!😩

Hi,
12 - 18 inches for me. I really ought to do something with it. I haven't be near a professional in years. A girlfriend gives it a very basic trim from time to time. I did it myself the last lockdown time. I put it in a long ponytail and 'snip!'.
I know girls, I must try harder. Me bad.

Started long before the lockdown and now I use that as excuse to continue. Some have asked why and I say something down the lines of that many people at my age (>50) don't have much hair left, I want to show what I have while I can. Being a geek/nerd that doesn't care to much about things helps to some level also.
I measured it now and it's about 40 cm so it's a bit below my shoulders. I'm curious as to how long it can get so no plans on cutting it.

Sadly my hair quit growing longer about 10 years ago.Now it either turns grey or falls out! What a bummer.Thank God for wigs...
I had my hair a bit longer for the last 3 years. Averaging bangs between nose and chin length.
But I got tired of having to comb it up into a pompadour to keep it out of my face.
I also found that at 2 inches long, it fits better under my wig....
XOXO
No plans to let it grow for the next few years. Work situation. After that I plan to let it grow well past my shoulders.
Not much hair on top to grow out, so wigs are my friend!!
Male pattern baldness struck a long time ago... so no hair to speak of now and the clippers are in use every month!
Oh, I wish for the shaggy mane I used to have but if wishes were follicles then I would be a blonde bombshell!

Most of my adult life I had long hair, right now its about middle of my back, and each year its gets shorter and shorter. But I'm starting to get sick of it again, and its getting thin on the top front. I'm starting to look like Christopher Lloyd from the Back To The Future Movies. You know Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown. I don't think I could do a hair piece or a wig. That would not be me.
I might do a buzz cut and keep it there
I wore my hair in a GI crew cut for 65 years; then, aa week before Christmas 2019, I decided to let it grow. Six months later I had enough hair for a girly perm. I had hoped to have it reach my shoulders after a year, but alas, growth seems to have slowed down greatly.
when i was young i had thick hair. now i get a hair cut and it cost me twice as much as it did back then. and i have less hair now. wtf. thats ok i got a wig and i like woman with short hair. they look sexy. demie moore in ghost or g. i. jane. (hot)
Amanda Tapping playing Samantha in SG-1. I am usually of a mind that the longer the better, but damn, she looked hot with that short blonde hair. Wish I could rock that look! 😍
Amanda is a lovely lady; but I think she was even better in "Sanctuary" as a brunette. I want hair like that, but it will never happen.
