Looking for a place to take my wig to be cleaned.

I've soaked mine in Woolite and water then rinsed with a little fabric softener and water.

Wigs are very easy to wash and care for. I know having a place to do this might be difficult but you should consider DIY.

I use an official wig shampoo and conditioner and follow directions. I also use a wig spray that is used after dry when CAREFULLY brushing out. This spray stops (helps stop) snagging when brushing gently.

No expert myself but reg shampoo and conditioner might work fine. Products made for wigs aren't really expensive when you consider how seldom you really use it.

I read the instructions with a few of my wigs and I use baby shampoo and I spray them with a leave in conditioner!  Seems to work well!

I recently went through a simlar quarandray and I found some instructions online which worked well. Basically you don't scrub or pull on it, just soak it, and use a mild shampoo I diluted mine quite a lot. Just soak it to rinse, and conditioner and water, let soak, and air dry. The ket is to be very careful with the handling of it and very mild shampoo and conditioner treatment.

My mother had a natural hair wig and washed it with No More Tears shampoo because it is so gentle, then a mild conditioner and let it dry on a wig stand (she one of those wire head shaped kind. I don't have a wig (yet) but I do remember her washing it that way, and of course when it was dry and no one was around, I felt obligated to try it on and make sure it was okay...:-)

I should have mentioned I bought some plastic wig holders off of Amazon. These are different from stands, which sit on a shelf, but the ones I got hold on to the shower rail so that they can drip dry.

I just use a silicone based shampoo and conditioner, following the instructions that came with my new (and much better) wig. Ok, it’s a pixie cut wig but it does say to wash every 6-8 days.
