I want to cosplay as a female character for Halloween. I'm trying to think of one that suits my physique. I have a wide chest and broad shoulders, and while my arms and legs are on the short side in relation to my torso, the bones are thick, and I have an amount of muscle that you don't typically see on a woman.
I thought, why not lean into that? There are muscular female characters who manage to be sexy. But for some reason, I'm drawing a blank. The only ones I've come up with are Xena, She-Hulk and Cara Dune. Help?
Hi Rachel, You might try Chyna the wrestler. That might be easy to do with a swimsuit and some belts. Also a similar body shape might work for Tomb Hunter Lara Croft and Archer Katniss Everdeen. I hope you have fun and this is useful. I once went as Zatanna with half a tux. Party on, Marg
That Zatanna costume must have felt sexy as hell. I've always had a particular fondness that type of outfit that you see a lot of in women's Halloween costumes. There's something about the juxtaposition of an upper body fully dressed in something formal-looking with long sleeves and multiple layers right above a lower body in a a half-tight, fishnets and heels. It's like a mullet, in a. Way; business up top, party down below.
Thanks Rachel, It was kind of flashy and I got a lot of nice comments on it. I may reuse some parts of it for a second life as the Taylor Swift ringmaster costume. Cross them up! I love my last years… took a white popular nurse costume, RIT DYE the heck out of it to gray (black dye), (only takes 30 min , not 2 plus hrs like I did), including red belt, and was a zombie in that. One night a hot zombie, one night with scars etc. black heels and hot legs. other one is my go to, a devil with horns gangster minidress. No red makeup, ghoulish. I like the ones that I can be attractive or turn and be ghoul/scary.
