My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary. We stayed a night in a nice apartment with large spa. On the day we both had a hair cut and colouring. My wife had foils and I went medium brown. Followed by lunch and a couples massage. We did plan to have our feet done tge following day, but that didn't eventuate.

In the evening as we were preparing to go out for dinner. My wife discovered she didn't bring her mascara. So I lent her mine. I was a brown / black Max Factor. And had bought it at a 50% sale a few weeks before. She normally uses black. But really liked the brown. And so she kept it. 😄😄😄

I didn't use any make-up myself that night. And kept in man mode.

My wife knows I CD. All my clothes are in the wardrobe. Time to time she raids my make-up bag and some of my clothes. Though most don't fit her. But apart from some light make-up. Polished toes. And occasionally finger nails. (And pony tail) I don't dress overtly enfemme around her.

@mary I feel you Peta. My wife has done the same. Needed a mascara to take away with her, take a new one I had and never returned it. I had a brand new eyeliner she liked and used a lot so I lent it to her and once again , never saw it back.  lol. Press on nails , pantyhose and perfume are a few others but the nail polish colours I purchased we share and pick each others colours at times.

My wife barrowed a new dress I had bought for myself when we were in Belize. We went for dinner and she looked lovely in it. It is what lace and very casual, perfect for dinning with a Carribean breeze.

I did get to wear it the following night in our room. It is so nice to have a spouse who has no issue barrowing things.

Hi Peta, We also exchange makeup and jewelry regularly and again occasionally clothes when something fits.  Perhaps the best part of all of this is the discussion that comes from having a partner who will constructively critique an appearance.  It's a great conversation between me and my wife.  Thanks for sharing,  Marg
