The title of this thread is in no way meant to suggest anything creepy, but rather is the answer to a question that came to mind as I walked through my local JC Penney the other day: given that I normally wear size 8 women's panties (18/20 for Lane Bryant and 2 for Torrid) what if girls panties could still fit me?
When I strolled past the Girls Plus section these cute hipsters and "girlshorts" caught my eye. Sharing the display table were matching bralettes that I had no hope of fitting into, but the panties came in sizes up to 3XL/22.5, were mostly nylon (which I love) and were seamless, so I started grabbing some to try. 3XL is the ideal size but given how much they stretch even a size XL/18.5 like the pair I have on now fits very well and feels nice. Back in my youth when I was first turned onto panties (see my introductory thread "Hello everyone from Christine") nylon was just as prevalent as cotton in girl's underwear but nowadays you'd be hard pressed to find girl's nylon panties so I really lucked out even though they're not satiny like I remember Christine 1.0's were.
Anyway, if you're game to replicate this experiment rush into your local JC Penney before they disappear.

Since I couldn't figure out how to post a picture in the forum I chose to upload examples of what I just described in the photo forum where it will exist temporarily.

The example photo is now up in the photo forum.

From time to time of late I carried this particular experiment a little further and sought out big girls clothing to try out. Nearly all that I've added to date were from Justice, whose sizes went up as high as 24 although if the material was stretchy enough I could fit into sizes 18 or 20. I used the past tense "went up as high as 24" because that was while they were still a brick and mortar retailer: they declared bankruptcy a couple of years ago and though the brand name survives you now find them online and in Walmart where the sizes don't go quite as high. To find the higher plus sizes they used to have in their stores you have to try your luck in either your local thrift store (Savers is my go-to in that regard) or eBay.
I own several pairs of Justice leggings and skorts, some tops, a complete light blue velour sweat suit, a couple of pairs of shorts and a few pair of denim jeggings, along with several pairs of their Oh So Soft brand panties. At this moment I'm lounging about my room on Christmas day in a slightly opaque teal Justice long sleeve top and Justice denim jeggings, both size 24, over a matching orange print Torrid size 2 lace trimmed nylon thong and filled out size 46D wireless nylon bra. Mind you, I'm 6'2" (188cm) and just over 300lb (137kg) so while what would be a full size top that a teenage girl could easily tuck into their pants or skirt if they so chose is closer to a crop top over my ample midsection, especially if I choose to wear my bigger breast forms in my bra as I'm doing now, the lack of padding on my backside allows the jeggings to fit over my thong without being too snug. Some of the tops and certainly the skorts are too cute for me at my age to go out in, but I do enjoy the fit. Again this isn't for everyone and my collection of big girls attire is but a fraction of my overall wardrobe, but it's a successful experiment if kept to moderation.
I'm posting a picture of the aforementioned outfit in the photo section, so look out for it as soon as it gets approved.
