Over the years it has change little. During a professional makeup session there are points, tipping points, where I happily/helplessly slide back into my femme self. Usually it has been as I feel the cool gel eyeliner slickly applied around my lids and then the luscious fluffy false lashes. Last time it changed as the MUA Ashley spent at least ten minutes turning my lips into plump, shiny works of art.
Where in your transformation are your "tipping points"?
Lips and eyes.
I love working with cream or liquid eyeshadow and smoking it out.
And lips....LOVE!!! a bold red lip.

Harietta, great question! My tipping points are, in this order every time:
The weight and flutter of the first false eyelash - that’s when I get giddy that “this is really happening honey!”
The posture change when I stand up after putting my heels on - this is when I really start feeling femme and when my mannerisms shift into girl mode.
And lastly, and it is always last, when I put on my lipstick - I always do it standing and looking into the mirror. The first glimpse of color brings gets my heart racing, and when it’s done that’s when I totally slip back into my femme self (and when I stare for a moment and then tell myself out loud “where have you been, .....you look fabulous!). So there!!
