I called Sephora, Dillards, Macy’s and Ulta in KC and nobody is taking makeover appointments. Sad. I finally got the courage to make an appointment, and can’t get my makeup done.
bummer.
Ya same problem here in Michigan. Really want to go bad but no such luck and i really dont see that changing anytime soon.
My guess is that it's going to be a while before we see any mainstream stores like Sephora offering makeovers for anyone, and that it will all change in some ways even when we do have vaccines and treatments and all. I think we're all going to be a lot more careful - especially with things like test bottles of lotions, etc.
So, at least for the next few months, it's probably You Tube and experimenting and practicing all by ourselves - or maybe with a family member - assuming that's possible.
Oh well, we adapt and move on and, hopefully, things will get better soon.
So sorry to hear that, Philma; my Ulta is - or was - doing makeovers and stylings. My guess is that it's a local decision, and I do hope you will be able to get in someplace soon.

I know an Ulta stylist doing makeovers at customer's homes. It's totally unauthorized. She wears a face shield, mask, and gloves. You might discreetly ask at the makeup counter of your local store. Craigslist is another option. I saw a few ads on my local page. Most stylists are struggling and some are flying under the radar to bring in some cash. Worth a look. If you find one, ask about their safety practices. Good luck!

Until things calm down, it's the tried and tested YouTube for me at the moment.
Where time allows, it is nice to sit down decide what I want to focus on, eyes, lips or simply just foundation/concealer and go for it. With the mirror and the makeup anything is possible.
