So my very first wig arrived this morning - and let me tell you, I'm already in love with it.
I ordered the Phoenix Synthetic Wig from Glamour Boutique USA
It feels so well on my head (which being bald and suddenly having hair is such a wild sensation) and feels amazing to wear.
Being married to someone who was a theater major in college has already come in handy as my wonderful wife has already shaped it some this morning. It would have taken me forever to figure out how to do it myself.
Next - I'm going to practice with adding make up, and soon I hope to share my first pictures with you. I can't wait to see the beautiful girl in the mirror soon. 🙂
@amileigh87 Ami-Leigh, the wig will make a huge difference. I never thought I could look like a real woman without, and every time I put it on after I do my makeup, I can look in the mirror and say, there’s the girl I know. I hope you have the same experience.

@amileigh87 Good for you! For me it was a game changer as it completed my appearance and pushed me over the edge into seeing the woman I have always been.

I too have no hair of my own to speak of and it always feels so great to wear a wig, although I have to be very careful not to eat it during meals or have it fall into things, like cups of tea or coffee.

Congratulations on your 1st wig! Mine goes way back to my teens when I "borrowed" my mother's wig(s)! Start slow and simple with makeup at 1st! watch a lot of videos on it and remember, too much can look as bad or worse than none at all!

Ok! So, I'm big into humor - I love making people laugh. It's always been a big part of my personality - and part of the reason I won my wife over when we were dating. LOL
So - here's a funny moment that happened today with that wig.
First thing's first - I LOVE THIS WIG! OH MY GOSH IT IS SO AMAZING TO HAVE IT ON!
My wife took the time to help shape it up a little bit and I wore it for a good two hours. Well, then it came time to get ready to go run errands. I'm no where in any position to dress to go out (especially in my area - it wouldn't be safe for me to do so). So, I dress back down and start to get ready.
I look in the mirror....and I got two big red indentions from the wig band on my head! I think the wig cap that I got was just a little too small.
So...trigger small panic mode. What do I do?! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!
So, I go to my closet full of my manly clothes and scrounge around - I find a ball crap. The day is saved!
...is what I would say until I'm working on signing up for a gym membership this afternoon (want to get my weight down and work on my figure a bit) and they need to take a picture of me.....
Well...at least I got to blame it on the ball cap. LOL
