Hello girls! Just wanted to take a moment to wish all who celebrate a very happy national dress day!

I am myself and skirt girl, but I can see why so many ladies enjoy all dress, have the best day!

For me every day is a dress day, but it's good to know that I'm on-trend for once 🙂

*Ellie hopes that she hasn't misread this, and that it isn't in fact 'National Dress' day rather than 'National Dress Day'*

@bethanymichaels  Never heard of this before. It’s mid evening here, so I just had to go and change into the dress I bought a few days ago.

I see that June 1st is “wear a dress day” as well, so we just need another 363 nominated dress days …

@bethanymichaels Too bad that we didn't know about this a week ago, so that we could plan for it. 🥴

@bethanymichaels Every day is dress day for me. But I am glad dresses have a national day. They are very deserving.

... and Sunday 10th March is apparently "National Skirt Day" 😀 (according to my search on the Internet)

Hi, Bethany, I didn't know there was such a thing. However, who am I to argue? I'll go and choose one for later 😊

@alexina that’s the spirit!

while I don’t normally wear them, I’ll celebrate a little late tomorrow!

I don't think there was on this side of the pond. Thanks to CDH, there is now. Cis gender ladies need to step up to the plate (preferably in heels). It's time to change from winter trousers to something floaty and floral for Spring.

Hi Bethany,

thanks, I had no idea!  I wasn't planning to dress today, but seeing as its an occasion, I've changed my mind and will be slipping into one of my favourite dresses soon 🙂

I had no idea...but I put on a dress all the same.

Serendipity!

@charlottesometimes  Same here!  Today is my last chance to dress until next week and, since I was in my femme jeans yesterday, I just fancied a dress.  Who am I to argue? 🙂

@finallyfiona On a whim, I decided to do a little light grocery shopping.  I accessorized with a belt and triangle scarf.  A young lady working at the store stopped me and complemented me on the dress, and she said the belt was just the right touch!  Squee!

I was planning on a dress day at home, I didn't even know it was celebrated. However, in view of todays weather where I live, rain non-stop all day, I decided on warm tights, denim skirt and long sleeved top.

What a great day.  Did not know.  When I get done with some errands, I'll pick out a nice floral one for tonight.  Maybe enjoy a glass of wine as well.

I have had a great day. Wore a nice dress and had coffee and a walk in a public garden with a GG friend of mine. I didn't realise it was National Dress day but most days are for me...

Well, I went out wearing a dress today so, purely by coincidence, I have done 'dress day'.

Wow, never heard of National Dress Day before.  Thank you ladies of CDH for educating me.

Dresses are not going to change the world, but the CDs who wear them will!

BTW, that saying is not original on my part. I read it somewhere on the net, then changed it a little to fit our world of crossdressing.

Yay! A dress has it's own holiday. I'm glad I'm wearing a dress today then.

Hi Bethany,

Happy National Dress day!  Perhaps, March 6 th will expand internationally and be International Dress Day!

I did get several emails from womens clothing stores advertising National Dress day!
