New Shoes

Love 'em! What do I type in to find them on their site?

Love them. Wish I could where heels like that. Sorry to say I get pretty wobbly. I need a wider heel or wedges. Love the skirt too.

They are Christian Siriano. they are an On-line exclusive so you will only be able to order them on-line, not in the store. I just order my size and then have them sent to the store closest to me and then try them on at the store when they come it, that way I can just return them right then and re-order in a different size at the same time. But for the shoe it's self, it is surprisingly comfortable. I don't think I would walk all over Seattle in them, but going to dinner and dancing with my wife they would be great.

I've picked up some really nice wedges from Payless as well and one of my favorite pairs of shoes I got from there is a pair of Mary Jane's that has a 3" heel that is a bit chunkier than your normal heel. No wobble at all.

They don't come in black patten anymore but they do come in black suede which I have a pair of as well.  These shoes are very comfortable to wear and you could wear them all over Spokane that is if the folks in Spokane are as accepting as the folks in Seattle are.  😉

Those are really cute.

All it takes is a little practice to walk in stilettos. I love them!

Honestly, the trick to learning how to be comfortable in them is to practice dancing in them. Turn on some fun music and dance around like you were a teenager. I tried it and it worked! I swear after a few times, you will feel right at home in them. It doesn't mean you can walk for 5 hours and not hurt, but you'll feel confident.

I have to hold my tongue whenever I hear my wife and her friends talking about how hard it is to walk in them. Almost all of my girly shoes are platform stiletto 4" heels…I just love them! Nothing makes you feel more feminine than a pair of crazy high sexy heels!

Heck, I took the ultimate challenge with them when I went out for my first "real" night out as Holly by walking in a pair of these platform heels down a hilly brick-paved outdoor mall with lots of people around! Didn't stumble a single time…and yes I'm very proud of that! 😉

Now if I could only swing getting some of the really cute ones like these!

Ordered myself a pair tonight-can't wait-I do LOVE my heels!

I am such a shoer-aholic, I just got the heels I started this thread with and then I ordered another pair from Payless yesterday. They are Fiona Nights 4" heels with a 3/4" platform. They are very dark grey/sparkly pumps. I can't wait until they get here. I had them shipped to the store for free delivery but also so I can try them on in the store while I am there.

I love my shoes too (what girl doesnt? 🙂 even though most of them unfortunately have never seen the sunlight(I'm not an out and about kind of girl yet. I do have a favorite pair of comfortable pumps that I wear out to my car and driving to work then change to my drab loafers until the ride home. Nothing like the click clack of heels on concrete to make a girl feel feminine-not to mention how great they make your legs and derriere' look! LOVE IT!

I haven't gone out fully dressed yet but I do wear women's jeans and shorts, (shorts with tennis shoes), and I always wear my heels out. Doesn't matter if they are closed toe or open toe, (I wear nail polish on both toe and finger nails 24/7), and don't really care what people say. I always have pantyhose or thigh-hi's on when I'm wearing my heels. I have never noticed any discussed looks and the only comments I get are "Those are cute", and "Those look good on you", never a bad word or snicker. I guess my attitude comes from serving 20 years in the Navy and being 51 years old and not giving a rats %$# what other people think.

I have that same pair of shoes in black and pink. The design took me a little while to get used to. I ended up adding some moleskin around the toe section to stop them from rubbing and a heel guard to stop them from slipping.

I love payless shoes. I can walk into their store and the salespeople are happy to help me in guy or girl mode, and I can slip on any size 12 and get a perfect fit.

Ok Kelly…totally jealous right now that you have those!   I just can't justify the price considering they would probably never see the light of day 🙁

I agree with the Payless people…they've been so helpful and wonderful!  Heck, even the customers there have offered advice when I asked a girl about how a pair of boots looked on me. We ended up talking shoes for 15 minutes! 🙂
