Maurices.com is another great plus size place.  I use Layne Bryant.  I have used Amazon also but have better luck with these two.  Torrid is pricey.

I am 6'3" and 204lbs. I find that most 2X sizes from any Walmart fits me perfectly. Of, course, being Walmart, they do sizes up to 5X, this dress for instance. If I can't get it at my local store, I buy online and it usually arrives in a couple of days.

Shein.com is where i get mine, love the cloths, and prices are low. You will have a week shipping time but i have not been disappointed. They have cloths, makeup, accessories and sizes up to 5xl. The best part is for their cloths thay give you measurements of the items and weather it is stretchy material or not.
