Open crotch clothing and what is old is new again

So what does open crotch clothing and what is old is new again have in common ?

Well, a small backstory.  When I transform into Wendy, I always wear my silicone hips/butt pad.  In order for these items to stay in place, I have to wear some kind of tights/shapewear.  I've been doing that combination for a long time, and it has worked very well.  The silicone items remain in place and don't budge.  However, when nature calls that is when it becomes a challenge.  I can't strip down all the way as the paddings will just fall out (or worse, fall into the toilet bowl).  So I strip down enough so I can go, but that means going as a guy (standing), which kind of defeats the purpose of being feminine.

For the longest time, I've been trying to find open crotch tights and shapewear.  I have to say it is as rare as a hen's tooth.  I can't believe manufacturers expect women to go to the bathroom having to strip down almost all the way to relieve themselves, while men have a nice flap in the front for ease of access.

I was able to find some tights, some from aliexpress and some from the UK, that have an open crotch.  But that is half the battle.  Eventually I did find some open crotch shapewear from aliexpress, but the sizing was more on the small side so it really squishes everything in.  On the plus side, it made going to the bathroom way easier, it kept my silicone pads in place, and I can now sit to use the bathroom like a girl.

So what does this have to do with the part of old is new again ?  I have an old pair of underworks hip panty.  I used this way before I got the silicone hip/butt pads, but I didn't like the underworks as the foam padding would cause the panty to have the dreaded hip droop due to the weight.  I took a look at the underworks and noticed it had an opening in the crotch.  I took out the foam padding, and low and behold, it kept the silicone paddings in place.  It felt snug but not like super snug.  I tried it on for the whole day, and going to the bathroom was a cinch, I sat like a girl which made the experience way better.

If I had looked at some of my old stuff earlier, I could have saved myself some $$$ on shapewear I bought from aliexpress.

Another old is new again is eye shadow.  My first eye shadow was pink in colour.  I stopped using it and was about to throw it out, but now I use it as blush.

Are they any items you gals have used, put it in storage, and rediscovered another purpose for ?
