@gisellereeves I get mine from Temu online. They are great and come with little sticky pads instead of the glue. I find they stay on really well. I’ve also purchased more pads that are waterproof and if I follow the instructions they can stay on for a fees day no problem. They look great and are super cheap. I started with the French tips first and now have purchased a few different coloured ones. I normally order 6 at a time and my wife liked them so much she borrowed a set for herself when going out one night. The ones I get are only $ 1.98 a set. The red set I got were $ 2.88. Compared to anywhere else they are anywhere from $18 to $24 are drug stores and such.

@gisellereeves Lately, I have been wearing Static Nails since they have a great range of sizes and fit my nails well.  The also come in some rally cute designs.   I wear them using Nail Stickers with I bought from Amazon (mwellewm, Nail Glue Stickers).   Once in a while I double up on the stickers on one finger (mostly the thumb) to make sure the nail stays attached but generally, they get me through a day or two and hold really well.

I just love having my nails done!!! Unfortunately, they're brittle and hard to grow out but hopefully one of these days I can make that work.

Gisele, exactly my thoughts. I have a rare dressing opportunity in May (10 days, woo hoo!) and I really want to try false nails for the first time. I've heard Kiss Impress have some pre-glued nails but on searching I can't find them. Would any more experienced girls be able to help us out?

Hugs, Chrissie xx.

@chrisfp99

Kiss Impress is pretty easy to find in the US and Canada.  Major drugstore chains such as CVS, Walgreens, and Rite-Aid sell them.  Amazon, Target, and Walmart have them too.  They're popular so selection may be limited.  Don't know about availability internationally.

@chrisfp99 Do you have dollar stores in the UK? Here in the states we have a store called Dollar Tree and they have Kiss press on nails often. I'm a GG and I use them myself because of how easy they are to put on and take off but they really stick well for quite some time. You can also get the extra stickers as Lauren said and then you can reuse your nails over and over. Much more economical, no appointment needed and you can take them off in a day if needed. Hope this helps.

Hi Giselle,

My favs for press on nails that don’t require any glue are the imPress brand that I typically see sold at Walmart or Target. They are good quality and stay stuck to your nails well as long as you prep them properly. They also have so many cute colors to chose from! I loved the light blue color they have!

Hi Giselle, I buy a box of Kiss Nails and then shape them on my Dremel tool to the style that I like.  Then I paint them with Sally's Instant Dry polish and toss them in a small Rx bottle for use later.  I buy the Ivtor 10 Sheets of Waterproof Breathable Jelly Double Side Nail Adhesives from Amazon for $7.99 and stick a sheet of them in the Rx bottle too.  Then I can just stick my nails on anytime or remove them anytime.  The Ivtor adhesives work well for me and they will stay on without problems.  If for some reason I should lose a nail, I'll just take my little bottle out of my purse and pop another one on.  I also scrape the adhesive off when I remove the nails and save the old nails for use again sometime.   I hope that helps.  Marg

I have large hands and had trouble finding press-on nails that fit my fingers.  Years ago I found plus size nails at Sally's Beauty supply.  sallybeauty precision-fit-plus-size-natural-nail-tips  I apply my own polish and buy glue tabs online at Amazon. amazon.com Nail Adhesive Tabs    I go out often and it only takes a couple of minutes to attach or remove.  I always keep extra with me just in case I break one or it gets torn off while trying on clothes.

I just went to Amazon and found patterns I liked. They were maybe $6/set. Then you just buy up a bag of the double sided stickers (another $6), and away you go! 🙂

Can large nails be purchased separately?

I have typically large male hands, but my thumb nails are too large for most sets.

@harriette See my comment above.  I have found one prepackaged press on nails in a large size but did not like the color.  Coloring my own has always been my preference.

@dianas1960 I saw your post, but I was wondering if you knew if large thumb nails can be bought separately? I haven't checked Wish yet.

@harriette Not that I have ever seen.  However it is only $9.49 US for the whole box of tips.  There are 10 of each size in the box.

I brought some nails on AliExpress (can be found easily on Temu also) and some stickers - search false nail stickers.  Just prep the nails buy buffing and cleaning.  Best thing is you can remove them easily by soaking in warm water.  One of the things I have read and happy to be told otherwise is the imPress are good for few days whereas I just need my falsies short term.  Best thing with the sticker pads is you just reuse the nails again and again by removing the residual stocker

I have trouble getting the glue pads ono my nails intact so I use nail glue just a couple of drops

I just ping them off with a toothpick... carefully 🙂
