Given how my journey into cross dressing started many years ago courtesy of Christine 1.0, one of my latest shopping trends has its origins in a sight I beheld on one of the evenings several months ago when I walked through one of the tribal casinos in Connecticut fully dressed, perhaps even in the outfit you see me modeling in my avatar.

Standing outside a restaurant on the promenade with a group of friends waiting for a table was an attractive young woman in ripped jeans. Fashionably ripped for the most part, but there was one massive tear just below the bottom of her zipper which almost allowed one a view of the crotch of her panties if viewed from an angle. Given that I was wearing a dress and a wig and presenting as female that night I tried not to be too obvious in being fascinated by that sight and for the most part I succeeded, but it has stuck with me since, to the point that recently I've begun deliberately looking for ripped and distressed jeans and jean shorts for myself, especially with the weather finally turning warmer here.

My acquisitions so far have been from Torrid, Lane Bryant and a few other brands, either in person (new or from Savers) or online in various stages of distress. Some I have tastefully distressed further, not to the extreme of that young woman at the casino but with strategically placed and executed tears in front, mostly by expanding slightly what was already there, a tiny peek of whatever panties I'm wearing is possible as I move about or reach in and out of one of the front pockets. There is a certain exhilaration in going around in this slightly daring look but I've kept it from being a distraction to others. On my days off from work last week when I've changed after my physical therapy sessions into an outfit that includes some of these jeans not only has my further customization gone unremarked but the overall look has gotten positive comments. If my membership hadn't limited how many photos I can have up at any one time I could exhibit what I mean by tasteful yet slightly daring. Perhaps once I figure out how to make room for it I can do so.

Own several distress jeans and jean shorts think they good for casual look maybe with some wedge sandals or such. My opinion is try to wear and test the limits on clothes.

I posted an example of the style in the photo section at this link:

Hi...I don't own any jeans ....full stop.

How times change....I remember that as a child, I wouldn't dare go home if I ripped my trousers. I got the third degree and they would be mended or thrown out immediately....

How " distressed" jeans got popular is a mystery to me....

basically holes held together with whisps of material....not for grace.

Live and let live.

I make my own 'distressed' jean's, not through use of a razor or scissors, but with manual labor out in the yard.  I will use a ripped pair only for so long before they become cutoff shorts to wear in warmer weather.

I have seen some distressed jeans on girls at the mall that have obviously been further modified to have less fabric than holes and rips.  My mom would have killed my sister for doing that to some expensive jeans.  I just can't justify spending that kind of money for ruined clothing.  Have millenials never read "The Emporers New Clothes"?

I have a few pair of shorts that are distressed, I like the look. But as for jeans they are all normal and NOT ripped.

All my 'distressed' jeans are ones that I have natural wear from gardening and I seldom wear them out in town. I think they look tacky. I do have a cute pair of cut-offs with frayed bottoms that I wear to the lake. I wear shorts a lot during the summer, all of which have 5" inseam or less.

I love womans jeans and find them awesome to wear with a pair of heels. I don’t have a pair of ripped jeans yet but it’s a matter of time. Denim shorts are also a must have for me. 👖👠
