Has anyone used the makeup services at Sephora's? I see that they are CD-friendly. The closest one for me is at the Asheville Mall in Asheville, NC. They have a class calendar online but there were noclasses posted. I didn't know if they would do a private session for a person or not.
Yes, I have they do a great job.
If you purchase at least $50.00 of their products they will do a free makeup makeup, but IIRC when I last purchased some of their products a few days b4 end of June my sales associate said come middle ofor end of July make overs only by prior appointments $50.00 cost regardless of any purchase. Don't know if it was a store only company wide policy.
During my first makeover while shoppin with my SOGGF (in October 2015) the sales associate @ that time did 1/2 of my face then had me do the other 1/2. (On my dominant hand side) assisting me a little bit if I screwed up or was having trouble. Since then they have changed policy don't show u how unless u purchase a lesson appointment atleast a day ahead of time.
I use their house brand Medium Peach #26 foundation, clinique #15 coverup both as coverup on my chin and between my upper lip and nose to coverup my light beard shadow. Sales associate said to save a little money I could also use a drop on each eye lid and between eye lid and eyebrow as "primer" for my eyeshadow.
Over the years I've used various colors and brands of both lipstick, lipliner, eyeshadow and mascara for one reason or another. Usually when my SOGGF decides I need a new look or when the seasons change. Or for a special occasion such as if we are going out for Halloween costume party or something like a formal event.
My current brand of eyeshadow is stilla's liquid metallic emerald green.
Nair's Rose Red matte lipstick.
You can probably get the same advice or better if you pay someone to come to your house to help you. Go on YouTube and check out comparisons between people using E.L.F. vs MAC... There isn't much of a difference.
Give them a call and ask, or got there and ask.
