With warm weather joining us in Canada, I placed an on line order for two types of shorts, Bermuda and 5” inseam and an above knee skort. The shorts were loose around the thighs, which as not the case with the models displaying them. After several tries, returned all the shorts and kept the skort which profiles better my legs and gives me better confidence in public.
What is your preference to go out in public or an home and what length?

I like them both! I have shorts and am waiting for skorts to be shipped!
I prefer skorts. I have 10 pair, different colors, all above the knee.
So far, shorts. Skorts tempt me but I haven’t given in to that temptation yet…too bad about the models not having loose thighs, though.
I have ample colors and style of shorts. Im older and avoid the short inseams. However, my favorite is wearing skorts. I have them in about every color you can think of. While I would prefer to wear a dress most of the time. Nowadays with all the girls dressing down so much. The skorts seem to fit in more often than not. They allow me to feel feminine yet not too dressed up.
I have a number of both items and enjoy them both. All are clearly above the knee.
I have 2 skorts and like wearing them. I don't have any shorts but do have a pair of capris that are comfortable.

Ooops - just remembered I have 2 pairs of shorts that my wife gave me. I enjoy wearing them as they are something I can wear in public without any problem. When I do though I have to remember that the zipper opens on the opposite side from what I'm used to, lol. Needless to say they have become my favorite shorts.

Another Canadian here who wears both all summer long but must confess I do enjoy the occasional day in a sun dress.
I have a pair of shorts but I don't wear them often.
For the Canada hot humid summers I prefer dresses.

I've been wanting to try a skort! Maybe I'll get the opportunity to do a little shopping today!
Not a big fan of skorts, but I do love my shorts. I have short legs and it is impossible to find men's shorts that look good on me. I have one pair left from the 1970s yet, but am cautious to use them often. I buy all my shorts from the women's section, 5" or 3" inseam. In the 3" I always remember panties to keep things decent.
My skirts are mostly mid-thigh.
I try to look flirty rather than slutty, but I do like to show off.
I have both it just depends on what I feel like when I get dressed, I like the way shorts fit a bit tighter in the rear. Skorts are fun too, it's all about how slutty I want to look for the day. LOL
I like short skirts, so I prefer the skort. I have one and it feels nice.
Bought my first short 3 days ago, worn it every day! Shopping for more.
