Hey Girls and lingerie experts, who here can tell me about the differences between a Teddy, a Camisole, and a Chemise?                                                          I'm sure I own several of each, but don't correctly which is which. Any experts here?

@meghan47 Teddies are nice.  so are cami's and also a chemise is too.  I like 'em all.  so no difference there!

Teddy you wear to bed. Cami goes under a blouse or maybe a dress, chemise is what- a rare sort of longer cami?  I think a chemise would be of cotton fabric and the other two could be anything.

Sisters am I pretty close?

Hi Meghan,

Your cami is the top part of your slip.  The chemise is a longer cami that may reach the thigh.  A teddie covers your top  and may have snaps and eyes under the crotch.
